Help? How to make a background color stick?

So I went in and clicked one of my pets, wanting to change the background color. I clicked the button that says Pick Background color. I picked the color I wanted. The background looked good. I went to another page and came back. It had gone back to the default background color for that pet. Same thing happens on any of my pets when I try to change the background color. What am I missing?

It only gives you a code that changes the background color on forums, you can't change the background colour on the actual pet page, sorry. ^^;

It's not a glitch so there is nothing to fix.

The color picker changes the forum code for you so you can put it on the forum with a colored background. It was not intented to stay on the pet.

I understand it's not a glitch, but I think it ought to be made so that the background color will stick in my gallery, not just in the forums. That is my opinion and suggestion.
