Tablet Help:(

Hi I have an Intuos 4 Tablet and I have a new pen but I can't get my cursor to move when I am moving my pen on my tablet. My tablet acknowledges that the pen is on it but my computer does. The manual said to download a driver of 6.1.3 or later which I did but it still didn't work!!!! Please help me:(

did you install the driver for your os (operating system)?
the drivers for xp are different than the ones for win7.

i'd uninstall/reinstall your tablet, but i have old faithful (a really old bamboo fun. goin' on four years next summer!), so my drivers would be very different than yours.

EDIT: i reread your post and i noticed that you said you got a new pen. is the pen made specifically for the intous 4 tablet? i'm pretty sure tablet pens can't work on different tablets than the one that it's made for.

I have a wacom cintiq and it does this too. I find that re-starting the laptop usually gets it working again, but I can't help apart from that.
