Re-adopting current month pets after they are gone?

I have a collection of this month's dogs and I think they look really cool. I got sent a trade request that I won't discuss here because I'm probably not allowed to talk about trades on this forum but let's just say it's a tempting trade. Does the adopt limit reset after they are gone or would I have to get my favorite ones back from the stuff I get? (I've only been using this site for 20+ days, so I'm still learning about it. Sorry if I get things wrong!)

the adoption limit doesn't reset - next month, there will be brand new litters to adopt! so if you trade away those pets, you would have to trade for more if you wanted to get them back!
if you do want some advice on the trade itself, you can post it to this thread to get other people's opinions on it and make sure it's fair to you! make sure you copy the link at the bottom of the trade, as this lets other people view a trade with no usernames (so they can't find out who the other person in the trade is, just in case)!
if you do like the offer, it's also worth saying that pets do tend to have slightly inflated values whilst theyre still growing/the rarities are unknown, with people willing to pay more for them - especially this month's dog litter seems popular! that means it definitely wouldn't be impossible for you to trade for them back later. also, the adoption limits are designed to ensure you always get 'extras' - for instance, if there are 6 different outcomes, you'll probably be able to adopt about 9 pets, so you have at least 3 'spares' to trade with! so you could wait until they grow to trade away just the ones you have duplicates of if you wanted to keep some, and this also means you'll have some duplicates from other litters to trade later!
