Oekaki notifications

How do I edit my oekaki notifs so I can stop receiving them? I have to click the oekaki link just to get rid of the numbers next to them and it drives me insane.
When I edit the follow list it only lets me add or remove artists I'm following, I want to change the notifications. Like turn off notifs for new drawings submitted. How do I do that without unfollowing anybody??

^^ Or getting notifications from yourself! (When I reply to someone under my drawing I get a notif that someone commented.. when it was myself)
