Could we ban those vampire soul-eating link thingys?

I know I'm probably overreacting, but I absolutely HATE seeing those things. ._.;

In a few places around the board, I see people with links in their signature, such as, "Free July '08 up for grabs!" And that's where the problem begins.

Inside the link is, not a free July, but a vampire thingy saying that it will "Eat your soul," or something similar. It scared the heck out of my little sister the other day when she clicked on that and it said that it ate her soul. When I was younger, they had different kinds of soul-eaters, and it scared me, too. I know enough to always check the URL before click on things....

But not everybody knows how to do this, and not all browsers have the feature, anyway.

It's not very nice to deceive (and, perhaps, try to scare people) people, in my opinion, and it's not in the least funny, either.

Very annoying, I know. I used to have one in my siggy, but I didn't try to trick people with it. All it said was; 'Can I have your soul?" And it's gone now, anyways.

I hate those things too. The first time i saw one it scared the heck outa me. The second time i saw it it just annoyed me though. I think it's mean.

I agree, it scared the heck out of me when I was expecting a post saying someone is quitting CS, and instead I got some 'steal your soul' thing -_-

Not to mention that my browser doesn't show links before you click; and I don't have time to always copy and paste the link into my address bar to check it before clicking things.
