The Bel Daemon, an ancestor of the modern day Feral Alpha Bel, otherwise known as Fab or simply Bel, declined in numbers after the revival of a previously extinct super predator, the Mentaer Foxes. They massacred the populations of Bel Daemon around the world with their superior intellect and ferocity. Very few Bel still claimed a place on Earth as their home, and those few were discovered to be living in forests as refuge, where the large trees would hide them from the foxes. As the foxes continued to dominate the rest of the world, the Bel living in the seclusion of the forests began to evolve to suit their new habitat, which has been renamed collectively as the Forest of Eden.
Thus sparked the rise of modern day Bel, with sharper intelligence and agility. They developed leaf-like protrusions in their tails as camouflage. The orb still kept its function of storing magic, but it is also used as a flashlight of sorts. With no means of interaction with human beings, the Bel could no longer birth from human laughter. Instead, they looked upon plant seeds and began to develop slight gender differences. When a male and female Bel mate, the magic in their seeds is combined to form a new seed. Sunflower seeds develop into females, and acorns develop into males. The expecting parents will then care for the new seed, often by taking turns placing it under a fold of downy fur. The newborn Bel will emerge from the seed after seven days of dutiful care and it will carry that seed with it for the rest of its life. Most litters contain only one Bel.
This cluster of adaptations quickly led to a sudden burst in population. Today, Bel populate over eighty percent of all forests. With so many Bel, the forests have become overcrowded. At the same time, humans have discovered the Bel, which they named Fab, and there is now an option to adopt a Bel for domestication. One must use the proper forms to adopt a wild Bel, and special potions have also been developed to care for these special creatures. However there is a government set limit on how many a human can own. Since the seeds are created during a certain breeding season that is random, you may only adopt a wild seed every other litter or season.
With the exception of art theft, any action that breaks these rules results in a warning.
Three warnings and you're blacklisted.
1. Art theft of any kind is strictly intolerable. First offense gets you blacklisted.
2. Spam is also intolerable. Spam roughly includes; asking when a new litter will arrive, being melodramatic, whining about missing a litter, anything else that gets on my nerves.
3. Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever edit your form. Ever. If you mess up your form the first time, repost a correct one and hope for the best.
4. If no longer wanted, send your Bel back to me. Thank you.
5. Adoption Limit is max ONE seed EVERY OTHER litter. Posting a form when you are under limit results in a warning.
6. Respect ALL staff members. Do not talk back at my mods. Do not mini-mod. Do not pick fights with any staff member.
7. Do not give me suggestions for anything unless I have explicitly come to you for help or suggestions.
8. Do not remove the linkback on your Bel to this thread.
9. You cannot post a form to adopt a seed until I post "A wild Bel has appeared!" with a GIF Image. That is my signal. Regardless if I have left the seeds up ahead of time, just wait for my signal anyway, mmk?
10. Reserves are for staff and close friends only, even then only on rare occasions. Do not ask me for reserves.
11. Do not beg me to take you up as a staff member. No. No. No.
