Ethiopian Wolf
Information is found here
Status- Endangered
Population- About 500
Ethiopian wolves are the most endangered canines in the world. They're also the only wolf species found in Africa.
These wolves live in open/heather moorlands, and live in a close-knit territorial pack of about 3-13 adults. Females will often mate with males from other packs to prevent inbreeding. Pack members have a strong bond, and will greet each other excitedly. Though males rarely leave the pack, females will often leave to new pack ranges when they reach maturity. Some threats to ethiopian wolves are- disease, human conflict, other predetors taking pups, and habitat loss.
