Number I want to adopt: 2
Liocko Name: Uraye
Why you want to adopt: I love animal print first of all, more like an obsession with it. xD I love her eyes {Yeah, all have eyes like that but I love them. ^^} And blue is my favorite color. So she's perfect for me. I've never owned a Liocko before, but I've seen many adopts go by, and decided I should go for one and stop watching others fill out forms. I really am not the best at this part, hopefully you find my backstory more convincing. If I was fortunate enough to win her, she'd be added instantly to my
character website. I would attempt and try to draw her, and of course look for artists willing to take on an unusual and unique species. ^^
Personality: Uraye is determined, selfless, focused, and has a sincere desire to help those when needed. She, like any other Lioko or creature, does get in bad moods every once in a while, and generally they don't last very long. She's very forgiving, and is also a bit shy toward new pride members at times.
Short Backstory: As Uraye glanced above at the cave ceiling. The pride was hunting when they split in separate and small caves when the storm started. Water was dripping steadily from it, and each drop made a little sound when it landed on the ground that she found relaxing. It was almost pouring outside, and as another drop hit the cave floor, lightning lit up the sky, soon to be followed by the growls of the thunder. Uraye glanced again at the puddle, noticing it was bigger than when she had previously looked at it. She shrugged the thought and padded over to her corner in the edge of the cave. It was driest there, a bit cooler and less humid too. She had also drug some large leaves for extra comfort before the monstrous storm started.
Uraye awoke with a jolt as the hot bolt of lightning crusaded against the sky, only to be followed by the roaring of the angry thunder. "Never going to sleep.." She muttered slowly trying to wake up completely. Getting to her paws, she glanced at the entrance which had water dripping in streams from the upper part. Staying in this cave any longer wouldn't be a good idea. She walked to the front, peered left and right outside, then took a few pawsteps on the damp, swampy ground. Seeing was a bit difficult with the rain, but manageable. She sniffed the air, shook her fur which was covered in water, then proceeded to walk.
Where was the rest of the pride? Surely they shouldn't have been far. The ground was becoming more wet by the second, and the soggy ground was uncomfortable to walk on. She let out a mix of a groan and a hiss with impatience. Normally rain was something she didn't mind, but downpours were an entirely different story. As Uraye's ear twitched to the left, it picked up the sound of a faint meow. Turning quickly to that side, she hoped the rest of the pride was close.
"Mrewoo." she heard again, it sounded like it was muzzled by something. Following the sound, she arrived at the scene of one little kitten, the most mischievous in the pride as a matter of fact, draped on a floating tree branch. The water wasn't that deep, just the kitten was so small it seemed that way. She quickly half walked, half ran to the kitten and scooped him up in her mouth. Hopefully he was a sign of the rest of the pride. The kitten hissed in argument, insisting that he walk. Obviously he had no knowledge that it's hard to walk in water that's higher in height than you. Judging by the scent of the pup, Uraye knew that he wasn't abandoned or anything like that. Just a bit lost.
Uraye and the kitten glanced at the sky, seeing the sunlight reflect of the leaves and trees, seeing the sun. The sun that brought warmth, dryness, and a better outcome on the day for both Liocko.
Anything else?: Not really. xD I wish I could try and draw art, but since Liocko look like felines in the basic body structure, I fail at them. D: Feather like things aren't what I excel in either. A backstory is really my only hope to convince you how much I want her.
