Why I Would Like to Adopt:
Well, I had stumbled upon this adoption agency a couple weeks ago and had been browsing through all the characters for adoption. Of all the characters for adoption I was drawn to this one the most. I thought about filling out a form for him then but I convinced myself I didn't need him. Since then and now I came back to look at him numerous times, but each time I convinced myself again that I didn't need him. Then, the other day in physics class I was bored and just goofing off with my calculator when I noticed that the serial number on the back of my calculator read "P-10510N." My initial reaction was "HEY! That looks like it says Poison!," and my second reaction was "That would make a really cool name for a char." I instantly thought of this guy and knew then that I just had to try to him.
Use:
The big thing here would probably be art. I love ordering art from people and building huge collections of art for my chars. I also like to paint the covers of my composition books and I think his head painted on one of them would look really cool; or maybe that's just me. xD I think it would be kind of fun to start an rp based on the lab too, so obviously if I did that I would rp with him. Among other things he would get featured in my signature. I love showing off my chars to the whole CS universe! xD

Despite how Poison looks, he is actually a very friendly, positive young dog. He does his best to see the positive side in everything and loves making friends. Sometimes making new friends can be hard for Pois, due to his looks; many believe him to be a "freak" or think he is a downer. But, as already stated, this is far from true. It just goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover.
A Dogs Key Qualities:
I'm sure you have heard that dogs are obedient and loyal. This may only be a stereotype and not true for all dogs, but it is true for Poison. Even after what the humans did to Poison he remained loyal to them and obeyed their every command.
There is Always Time For Play:
A day of Poison's life would not be complete without a little to play. Playtime with his master and friends is especially important to him, as it is a vital time of bonding. He often tries to turn the dullest of moments into something fun by using his imagination and turning it into a game.
Respectful Others as You Want Them to Respect You:
Poison has a great respect for everyone and anything. This may stem from his experiences at the lab. He treats everyone the with equal regards, regardless of appearance, personality, or opinion.
Patients is a Virtue:
Regardless of his abundant energy, Poison has a lot of self-control an is very patient. He doesn't get anxious while waiting for stuff, as he knows they will happen in time.
Nobody Is Perfect:
Now you may have come to the conclusion that Poison has this perfect personality, but the truth is nobody is perfect, and even Pois has his quirks. There are times that he pushes himself to be too happy that he overlooks the severity of his current situation. He has a hard time understanding others that are depressed.

Poison was born in a lab that experimented on dogs. For the most part the animals were treated fair; good food, clean, adequate kennels, and attention. However, it was the experiments that were conducted on the dogs that made living in the lab a dreadful experience. Often times these experiments included injections of various concoctions or exposure to different forms of radiation. Occasionally you would have the lucky dog that walked away from an experiment unharmed and unaffected, but more often than not the dogs would become sick, grow mutations, have sudden changes in personality, and sometimes they would even die.
Poison himself was experimented on at an early age. At 23 days old he had his first injection. This was followed by weekly experiments up until he was 8 months old; when he was put into an experimental break. At this point he had gained a variety of mutations which included ram horns and unusual body markings; the mutations were not exactly the most pleasurable of outcomes; as other dogs outside the lab often rejected him for his unusual appearance, but at least the mutations were livable and for the most part, painless. In a more "unsuccessful" experiment conducted when Poison was 6 months old, a newly created substance had been injected into his back leg. The injection caused most of the fur on his leg to fall out and the skin to became inflamed. In some spots a thick green goo-like substance would ooze from the skin. The lab technicians tried several methods to heal the leg, but nothing seemed to work and eventually they gave up; leaving the battered leg a sad reality for Poison to live with.
Unlike many of the other dogs, Poison remained loyal to the lab technicians and looked to them with respect, regardless of the cruel experiments that they conducted on them. After all, they did care for him and who was he to bite the hand that fed him. It was for this outlook that Pierson, one of the higher ranked lab technicians, took pity on him. When Poison turned 1, Pierson announced that he was adopting experiment P-1050N and ending the dogs days as an experimental animal. He also granted him the new name Poison. At this point he went to live with Pierson and started a new, more secure chapter in his life.
Being a friendly dog, Poison tried to make friends with the local dogs when he was let out to play, but they always stuck their nose up at him and refused to even be associated with him. They wanted nothing to do with a "freak." There were some days were Poison would go with Pierson back to the lab while he worked. He was aloud to roam where he pleased and was not even to be considered for experiments. During these times he would go to the kennels to visit his old companions and siblings that still remained at the lab, but they were jealous of Poison, and this led them to despise him, so they too turned away from him. All of this made Poison sad, but he did not let it bring him down. After all he still had a companionship with his master Pierson. Not only this but he had managed to befriend a devious street cat who sometimes came to visit him. So even though other dogs wanted little to do with him, he still had meaningful friends.
Three months after Poison was adopted, the lab was shut down and charged with animal abuse. Having no job, Pierson spent more time with Poison; allowing their relationship to grow even more. Pierson also made it his personal goal to find new homes for the now homeless experiment dogs. During this time, Poison was able to regain some of the friendships he had once shared with some of the dogs at the lab.
And this is where we reach the point that Poison stands now. He has a bright future in which anything could happen. c:

Pierson- Not only is Pierson Poison's master, but he is also the most important person in Poison's life. This (ex) lab technician has little known family and is primarily a loner with the exception to Pois.
Bumble- A spunky little street cat that comes by Poison's house every now-and-again. She loves to share her stories with Poison and is always up for a good game. [Ref : X]
Family:
Mother- Was some kind of Saluki, she died of a failed experiment a couple months after Poison was born. She was never very close to her pups, as they were taken away and bottle fed from birth. Not having a close relationship with his mom meant her lose was not very significant to Pois.
Father- The father is unknown. He could be a dog from inside the the lab or out, all we know is that he probably had saluki blood too.
Siblings- Poison had two sisters, both of which lived in the lab with him. One sister only had some minor experiments tested on her and remained for the most part normal. The other sister is ailed with losing her consciousness at random times and passing out; this was a result of some test that were conducted on her when she was 4 months.
Mate:
None- He is still a little young for that, but I'm sure he will find someone special in the future.

The Czechoslovakian Wolfdog (or Vlčák/Vlčiak) is a relatively new breed of dog that traces its original lineage to an experiment conducted in 1955 in Czechoslovakia. After initially breeding 48 working line German Shepherds with 4 Carpathian wolves, a plan was worked out to create a breed that would have the temperament, pack mentality, and trainability of the German Shepherd and the strength, physical build, and stamina of the Carpathian wolf. The breed was engineered to assist with border patrol in Czechoslovakia but were later also used in search and rescue, schutzhund, tracking, herding, agility, obedience, and drafting. It was officially recognized as a national breed in Czechoslovakia in 1982.
The color of the hair is from yellow-grey to silver-grey, with a light mask. The hair is straight, close and very thick. The Czechoslovakian Vlčák is a typical tenacious canterer; its movement is light and harmonious, its steps are long.
