~~~
Gender [of pet]:
Female and male
~~~
Breed/Species [of pet]:
Japenese Hare/Fanasty Rabbit Cross
~~~
Personality [of pet]:
~~~
Maeve:
M is for
mellowMaeve is very calm, cool and collected. She usually is not angered, unless tampered with. She usually is quiet, and doesn't talk much. However, she can let out the calm and collected side to reveal other shades of her.
A is for
ambitiousMaeve will do anything to achieve her goals. From scaling a tall hill to traveling a certain distance, Maeve will do whatever it takes to reach her goals. Harker, however, often wants his goals done too, so the two often do their ideas in order, Maeve first.
E is for
energeticMaeve, however, when given a fizzy pop drink, will spring into the air like a rocket, due to the load of sugar. Energy rushes through her, and it changes almost everything about her. She settles and calms down after a bit, though. She is hyper, light-headed, and dizzy.
V is for
vagueMaeve is reticent, and does not tell her secrets to anyone but Harker, her confidant as well mate. She is afraid that if she tells others her secrets, they will view it as a laughing stock. That's why she's always last to talk about something.
E is for
emotionalMaeve can get very emotional at times. She can be deeply in one paticular emotion, like sadness and anger. Often, she cannot snap out of it easily. So sometimes, she comes to her hyper mate in order to calm herself.
~~~
Harker:
H is for
honestHarker is very honest to others. He does not lie, which even if he does, he usually says the truth afterwords. Harker will feel guilty if he gets away with a lie, and will tell someone about it later. Maeve finds him amusing when he speaks because of this.
A is for
angstyHarker often complains a bunch. He usually whines about how he can never win, and how he is never too good to make it. However, Maeve often comforts him during his angsts.
R is for
raggedHarker, despite being so cheerful, can seem liked a messed up hare. He says things that can mean one thing to some, and another thing to others. He has earned a bad reputation for his words, sharp and clear.
K is for
karma/judgementHarker will often judge people by their reputation and their appearence. He usually despises criminals, and will do anything to escape meddle with them. He also judges them by their thinking. Harker thinks that any animal or something that thinks bad thoughts is one to stay away from.
E is for
energetic as wellMaeve fell in love with Harker for this very reason: he is energetic like her! However, he does not get it from a outside source. Rather that, he gets it from his family. He is very hyper, as said before, and will destory things while hyper.
R is for
rabidHowever, if Harker's hyperactiveness goes unheeded, it will turn into a recipe for disaster. Harker will continue destorying things, eating things, then leaving them half empty, and he might even destroy a house. However, he will make up for his actions.
Background/History [of pet]:
Right in the open field stood two rabbits, one a lighter azure with a pelt filled with markings of stripes and a moon. The other, a black hare with glowing lighter blue markings and tail and belly, helped the lighter blue doe get into the den. She was in her what would one call a kitting stage, a time where one has their bunnies, or kits as some would call them. The black hare encouraged the lighter blue one to get used to it, showing that the two were in a good relationship. How did this all come to be?
MAEVE:
A squeal could be heard as a cry from a young rabbit, no more than two weeks old, being whipped by her father, using his mouth to move the whip made of foreign saw grass. This young rabbit was Maeve, in pain, not mellow, but being abused by her father. Her siblings went back into their dens, and her mother was angry, and then nipped the father's shoulder. Then, he nipped her shoulder, so soon Maeve was no longer whipped. She was watching a fighter between two parents. Her parents. The ones who have raised her since birth.
Her father was Ebony Rain, a pitch black rabbit with light blue markings, a name that suited him quite well. He was cruel to his kin, except his mate. Nobody was certain why, but his mate later told his children that he was grief stricken over the loss of Ginger Ferns, his last living relative who died of meadow fever, the equivlent to whooping cough for the elderly. Towards the end of his life, he would find out that he was Cocoara's, Tawny's, and two others sibings from a previous litter.
Her mother was Winter Willow, a icy blue japenese hare with the same colour as Maeve's moon marking on her stripes and moon. She was more kinder than Ebony, probably because that she didn't experience the same pain he felt when he lost his kin. Maybe it was that Winter's bloodline was adapted to harsh climates which Ginger died in. She often told her kits stories at dark, and left a lot of questions in the air, mostly from Maeve. She was calm, energetic, and curious, Winter's ideal daughter.
Maeve cried that night, and would do so for many nights following that one. Her brother, Patched Heart, was killed by a field snake, and was eaten alive. Even days after his death, Maeve could still see his disolving body in the mottled green snake's stomach, its shape standing out from its body. Her sister, Twisted Whiskers, dissapeared mysteriously one morning. Her other sister, Moon's Shine, was gone shortly after. During this time, Ebony Rain was so insane up to the point where he couldn't think straight. Maeve's family was falling.
One night, Winter Willow awokened Mauve Fur, Maeve's name in bunnyhood. Ebony Rain was dead. Free at last from his pain, Winter Willow stayed with his body for the night, giving him final wishes before she went back into her den. Grief stricken, understanding Ebony's conflicting feelings with Ginger Ferns, she too died. Both were later revealed to have died of strack foot's, a disease which infects the foot, which then reaches the body. Maeve cried throughout the whole night, her life changed all in just a season. The summer was hot, and the sun solistice was coming, which meant peace for Maeve. The next morning, she headed off towards the Four Pines for the celebration.
HARKER:
Harker lived happily with his mum and da. The sun was bright on the day of the spring equinox, shining like a wildfire blazing through the forest. He was born that day, as his parents told him. Harker was safe from harm, except the punishment from telling lies, then telling the truth. Harker had two brothers, Ivy Vine and Sparrow's Wing, and a sister, River Tide. His family was basically a middle class burrow, living near the Four Pines. His father was Oak's Bark, a brown spotted black japenese hare. Harker's mum was Orchid Sprig, a black and multiple shaded brown Marsh Hare, with glowing blue markings and tail and chest.
His family was steadily falling apart when Ivy Vine became sick with meadow fever. He did not recover, and passed away in his sleep. Sparrow's Wing caught strack foot's, and his paws became a ickish dirt brown. However, he did not let this stop him, and lived his life normally despite his condition. Harker, who was called Charred Droplet, thought that his family would be like the Ferns, who were said to all have been in horrible episodes of danger and death.
Then, finally, Oak's Bark left Harker and his family due to relative troubles. Now, Harker himself was the Main Buck of the family, being the eldest and River Tide's littermate. However, Sparrow's Wing collapsed one morning while eating his chard stems. He had finally given in to strack foots. Orchid Sprig was so frightened that she would lose another kit that she buried Sparrow's body quickly, and ran away from it.
Now, it was only River Tide and Harker left. He told his sister that his name was Harker, since he no longer thought that Charred Droplet suited him. He knew that the summer solistice was coming. River Tide was coming to this event about the sun, and so was he. Harker and River left a mound for Orchid, in case if she was to ever come back home, and then setted off for the Four Pines that day.
TOGETHER:
The lighter blue hare arrived at the Four Pines. The sun would always shine its rays at a paticular angle in this place during each season's equinox or solistice. Maeve had changed her name while on the trip, from Mauve Fur to Maeve, a name that her mother heard of from her stories when she was young. Already were some rabbits there before her, but one interestingly caught her eye. A certain pitch black hare with glowing blue markings and a river blue hare with brown splotches were sitting, focusing on blocking the blinding rays of the summer sun. Maeve wanted to talk to them. Mainly that sleek black hare.
"Hi." she shyly said, her tail twiching nervously. What would that black hare say?
"Hey. Name's Harker, what's yours?" replied the he-rabbit. Maeve collected a sigh of relief as she realized that the hare was not angry at her.
"I'm, uh, Maeve. I'm here for comfort, because my family broke apart and some died, so I decided to come here. What about you?"
she asked him.
"Same. Only my sister is here. Her name is River Tide, but call her River." he replied.
The two rabbits were soon engaged in their conversation. The two quickly became friends, and soon Harker invited Maeve to stay at his place. Maeve agreed, and so she lived in a burrow she had never been in before. Her mellow personality and Harker's honesty mingled well together. River left the burrow, as Harker said one day, so that she can live on her own, but will visit occasionally. Thus, Maeve and Harker lived alone.
Maeve began to have more feelings for the black rabbit. One day, she couldn't hide the fact that she liked him, but that she
loved him. He helped comfort her. Both were energetic. Harker could whip up a bunch of funny quips in just a minute and keep you laughing for hours. Then, one night, she finally told Harker her true feelings for him. He did the same, telling that he loved Maeve all this time. The two then nuzzled in the night.
And to this very night, the two rabbits still love each other. Maeve had her children, three to be exact. She, Harker, and the newborns sleep in the shine of the moon, bright in the night sky. The stars show their dead. The moon seemed to have a copperish glow to it. The two thought it signified their everlasting love for each other. The two came to be from this tangled tale full of death and despair, turned with a touch of love.
Use [for pet]:
They will both be used as charries in my charrie thread. They will get art and adoptable customs of them, and they will be very loved, as much as they love each other.
