Personality:
Muffie is a very interesting character with his number one, and possibly only, love being
baked goods and deserts. He despises all food not sweet and in fact somehow cannot
survive on them as he is a strange little muffin badger. He tends to be very picky about
how he cooks his food and is in fact a little hypocritical when it comes to food picky-ness
as he can't stand it in others when it is so prominent in his own character.

Muffie spends much of his time in the kitchen cooking things and teaching his young
sidekick how to cook as well. The heat of the oven and the smell of the spices are the
quickest ways for Muffie to relieve his stress. When in the kitchen though, it is best not
to disturb him as he can throw quite a dramatic fit if any of his food is messed up and is
apt to blame it, probably not entirely unfairly, on whatever poor soul interrupted him.

Muffie is mostly a softy though, loving to share what he cooks with all manner of people
and often leaving people gift baskets of freshly baked treats when they are feeling down.
Unfortunately, sweets and baked goods are his answer to everything. If someone was
having a heart attack, he'd likely give them a cookie, not really knowing what else to do.

Comic Book History
Muffie was never really a badger or a muffin. You see, how he came to be is that there
was a badger who was bored and this very smexy muffin... Okay, okay, I'm just kidding.
Muffie Pie was born as a normal baby badger to his parents who were also both normal
badgers. However, when he was young he fell into a radioactive batch of muffin batter
and became Ba-da-da-dum! Muffie Pie! The amazing talking, cooking, and
surprisingly tasty mutated badger muffin! Savior of all those craving delectable treats
with no bakery to turn to.

....

As for Jambaby,
Muffie found him as a tiny hummingbird baby that was dying so he tossed him into a
magical healing jam that may have been a teensy, tiny bit radioactive as well
and got his young friend and sidekick, Jambaby! The... colorful and sweet
humming bird?

In Detail: The Meeting of the Two
The morning was quiet. Too quiet. By this time the birds were usually singing and
waking Muffy Pie up to make some delicious breakfast muffins. This morning though,
there was no bird song despite the sun being above the horizon by more than a bit.
Muffy's stomach growled as he rolled out of his nest, rubbing his rather round tummy
with a lazy paw. As he left his den, he saw the reason that the birds weren't singing.
A few feet away, judging whether or not it was going to be able to climb the tree it
stood at the base of, was a rather slinky cat.

Now, Muffy Pie has no qualms with cats, but he does enjoy his bird song in the
morning, so he padded up behind the cat and gave a nice, rumbling growl. The
cat turned, fur puffing as if getting ready to attack, then saw Muffy's massive
size and thought better of it, turning tail to run away and find breakfast elsewhere.

Short Version:
Riptide was once a cattle horse, sired from the great QT Poco Streke, a World Champion reining stallion, and a small town paint pleasure mare. Riptide was trained early on and introduced to cattle, having been born on a working ranch. As he grew older he began earning money through local competitions, and worked hard until he was sent an invitation to compete in the State Finals. But, during a practice session two months before, one of the steers went wild and charged him and his rider. The girl who rode him came out unharmed, but Riptide was a different story. The bull's horn had punctured his side, barely missing his stomach and spine, and the force of collision broke his right foreleg. After surgery and months of rehabilitation, including fighting a bacterial infection in his hip, he pulled through and was put to pasture to rest. But he wasn't happy as just a stallion at stud; he wanted to jump back into the arena and compete. It was in his blood, after all.

Well-built wolf mix. Seems to have some sort of shepherd in him. Listed as a German Shepherd X Wolf hybrid. Bred for military service, though his litter never made it to their destination.

"Outstanding physical features?"
Very lean and well-muscled. Quite the athlete. Large ears and long muzzle, extraordinarily strong, sharp canine teeth. Somewhat short claws with a shorter tail, possibly bred for evading capture. Long legs and a deep chest make him fast with a lot of stamina, as well as a long range of jumping power. Longest jump recorded was an eight foot gap, highest jump is recorded at 5'3". Outstanding sense of balance, possibly trained for high-altitude athletics such as high cliffs or city rooftops.

Very intelligent and clever. He seems to have the intelligence of the average human, his IQ hovering somewhere around 130. The attempt to trick him was a vain endeavor; he will quickly realize what you're doing and will change mindsets. Exceedingly dynamic, his character is constantly changing according to the situation he is faced with.
