The NightsIllusion gives us a Breeding/Pairing Thread
The Calikari is a small species of desert cat with medium length fur. They have large ears, tipped with black tufts of fur, and are noted for having wide-spead paws, making it more able to walk on sand. They have bushy tails, that they can swing in almost a propeller like action 360 degrees - a full circle. These cats are mostly awake from midnight to noon, instead of all day or night.
Typically, a Calikari has grey or brown fur, although other possible colours include Black, White, Cream, Deep Red, Deep Blue and Deep Purple. They usually have bio-coloured (odd) eyes. They have dark v-shaped markings, usually a tint darker than their main fur colour, ^ inclined on the nose and like < and > on the eyes.
Other Markings wise, are usually anything a shade darker than their fur, in just about any shape of size. There are though alot of cases where 1 'Oddly Coloured' Marking appears, and sometimes the 'Odd' colour shows in all markings.
Food wise, They eat a number of the natives. Ravkatu is a large blackbird, often found near Cacti. It is quite dumb and easy to catch. Scatcut are usually cream coloured animals with floppy-dog-like ears. They live in warrens and are quite quick. Kohatu are small, brown, rabbit like animals with feathered tails. They are quite advanced catches. And the Calikari also eat Otahu, horse-like animals with mouse-like tails and large, slow feet. There are a few nameless species, but the Calikari see no need to name species they don't have any interest in. There are Yukita, winged spider like creatures with a venom that can kill a Calikari flat. Besides the Yukita, the worst enemy of the Calikari is themselves, the rival clans. Besides that, open wounds are easily infected by the strong winds and the sand - and the afternoon heat and the Early night's cold can kill a Calikari.
