Notice:
Yaro Shepherds will be opening for a temporary “soft launch” to gage the interest in YS and see what needs fixed/added. Many features such as breeding and trading will not be available at that time. I have a total of 6 dogs ready for this soft launch. Every person who obtains one of these 6 dogs will automatically be given a free custom YS.

Yaro Shepherd - Background

The Yaro Shepherd is a large breed of dog weighing anywhere from 70-100 pounds, standing at 23-30 inches. This livestock guardian breed originated from Russia where they were used by shepherds in the mountains for centuries to defend the herds while at the same time, being a guard dog. Their fluffy coat keeps them warm and resistant to cold weather up in the mountains.

Yaro Shepherd - Personality & Characteristics

These dogs are agile, and vigorous. They are natural guardians and brave. The Yaro Shepherd distinguishes themselves by their instinctive and unconditional attachment to the herd and their master. They’re fierce in the field, but playful and fully devoted to their family. While most Yaro Shepherds are used for guarding herds, they also excel in sports such as Schutzhund. Overall they are a stable dog with a good off switch.

Yaro Shepherd - Standard

Coat Colors: The only color these dogs do not come in is merle
Muzzle: Powerful. The length of the muzzle is slightly less than or equal to the skull.

Eyes: Almond shaped, in various shades of brown
Ears: Rose shaped
Body: Slightly rectangular, the top line is straight. Chest is barrel like
Limbs: Strong bones.
Movement: Free, long-reaching movement. Vigorous and sustained trot. In action, the limbs are parallel.

You may obtain a Yaro Shepherd for free in various ways.
This can be by:
•adopting from the pound
•participating in events
•entering giveaways
•answering prompts, etc
However, there are aspects and certain dogs that can be paid for.
This is for things like:
•customs
•breedings
•special coats, etc.
Do note that there are ways everyone can earn the currency (YD) it may just be harder for free.

exchanging CS pets/C$, answering the question of the day, selling puppies you’ve bred to other users, putting your dog up for stud for other people to use, YD Ponies
