Welcome to the world of Tiefyowls!

Tiefyowls are canine-like creatures with antennas, Jelly-textured belly scales, hooves, long canine teeth, long dragon-like tails, downturned ears, and bulbous body temperature regulators on the sides of their face.

Tiefyowls are apart of an entirely fictional universe in which the earth is populated by anthropomorphic cats and dogs that are pirates. Tiefyowls are located on an island dubbed "Alterine" which has recently become inhabited with these pirates and has become a sort of a trading and selling hub for folks at sea to make a quick buck or trade for items they need. Tiefyowls have existed on this island for thousands of years, surviving off bugs, rodents, and amphibians and making their shelters in deep caves in the mountains on the island. Due
to the pirates discovering these creatures, many has since been used as companionship and work support, due to their flexible yet strong bodies able to carry small wagons and them being smaller than horses, allowing them to live inside residents houses as a companion to these pirates. Their diet consisting of common house pests is also a huge plus as well.
Tiefyowl mascot is Stratage, who is shown at the top!

Tiefyowls are a closed species and will be available through free adoptable batches, customs and myos, and non-free adoptable batches (C$)

Species traits + rarities

Tiefyowls are very diverse creatures that can have very vast and unique quirks to them. Tiefyowls will always have downturned ears, fur, hooves, temperature regulators on the face, antennas, jelly-like belly scales, and long fluffy tails unless a Tiefyowl possesses the "trait lost" trait. Some Tiefyowl traits, however, could never have the chance of being lost; Tiefyowls will always have hooves, ears, tails and hair. Like stated before, Tiefyowls have some places on their bodies where they have a Jelly-like texture on them. These are on the top of the antennas and their belly scales. These can be any color at all except for a pitch black or pure white. If the jelly is of a certain color, the teeth and hooves will be that same color as well. The antennas and temperature regulators will always be slightly darker than the base color of the Tiefyowl. Tiefyowls all also have a star shape in their hooves.

Below is a guide showcasing a Tiefyowl. Red means the tiefyowl will always have this trait. Green means that the trait is able to change the appearance. Blue means that length may change drastically.

The squishy scales this Tiefyowl has on it's body extends from neck to the tip of it's tail.

It seems like this Tiefyowl has hair like a komondor..

This Tiefyowl has a double limb of some sort !

Albinism ~ very rare
This Tiefyowl is all white with sensitive eyes!

Trait lost ~ rare
This Tiefyowl has lost a typical trait of some sort :(.

Stuffed ~ very rare
This Tiefyowl is…… a stuffed animal?

Diaphonized ~ very rare
This Tiefyowl is…. diaphonized…. WHO DID THIS!?!

Little one ~ uncommon
This Tiefyowl makes a great pet due to permanently being a youth Yowlite!

Object swap ~ rare
This Tiefyowls antennas or temperature regulators are replaced with an object of some sort!

Draconic ~ rare
This tiefyowl has wings of some sort! ( can have multiple sets! )

Fishy ~ uncommon
This tiefyowl has fins like a fish on it's body!

Cyclops ~ very rare
This tiefyowl only has one eye!

Everything else, like patterns, top hair, accessories, etc. are not apart of the rarity system.

Questions and answers


"Can I make a change to my Tiefyowl once I own them? "
on your own, no. However, I will sell items that can allow you to request a change in a Tiefyowl you own that will cost dogloons, the currency for Tiefyowl items.

"Will there be exploration events? "
Currently, they are not planned. however, they're not completely off the table in the future. I am only one person, so exploration events are something too complicated for just me to moderate alone.

" Will anthro pirates be a closed species too? "
No, not at all! You can make whatever pirate you want to exist in this universe. The character just cannot own a Tiefyowl if it was not bought, made, or won from here.

" Can I roleplay/use them for personal projects etc.? "
Yes. once a Tiefyowl is yours, you can make them your sona, put them in a project you have, etc. They can be uploaded to Toyhouse as long as you credit the artist.

"Can I add my own clothing to my Tiefyowl? "
Yes. However, you cannot draw over the original base drawing you gotten. You have to completely draw your Tiefyowl yourself or commission someone to draw your Tiefyowl with whatever clothes you want. Also, if a Tiefyowl comes with clothes in their design, you cannot take them off.

"Are free Tiefyowls fcfs? "
No. Free Tiefyowls are raffles.

1. Tiefyowls are a closed species, you cannot make one your own. Don't beg for a free design from me!

2. Do not steal others Tiefyowls, use a design that's not your own, use my base, or claim that you made the design.

3. You can trade, gift, or sell Tiefyowls, but please let me know of this trade or sell and where the Tiefyowl has ended up.

MYO ticket. Allows you to make your own Tiefling. Allowed 2 rare traits.


" Soothing elixir "
60 dogloons
allows you to grant a single change to a Tiefling/yowlite you own, such as a pattern change, minimal detail change, or special trait reroll. Tieflings cannot be completely recolored. Only one change per Tiefling/yowlite.


" Prancing elixir "
800 dogloons
grants two Tieflings you own to breed. Yowlites CANNOT be bred. litter ranges from 1-6 tieflings.


" New beginnings elixir "
500 dogloons
Allows you to request a custom tiefling. You can pick colour scheme, theme, and basic mandatory traits. Special traits are randomized ( though you can request for 2 traits you absolutely do not want ). Linework changes are completely okay.
