(Note: Stuffkins is still in "beta" and so many threads are missing and layouts for everything are not final!)
As of late, the news has been full of stories about living cat stuffed animals being sighted near an abandoned toy factory once forgotten. You thought it was all some kind of hoax--"they've just run out of stories!" you said. "I'll prove it myself, toys can't come to life."
So, you take a train to somewhere 100 miles from your home and track down the building yourself, sure you won't see anything out of the ordinary as you open the door. But, to your surprise, in front of you stands a small stuffed kitten--just a foot tall--gazing at you with wide, curious eyes.
She takes a few steps toward you, each step sounding more like a bean bag being dropped on the floor than an actual footstep. "Hello," she greets. "I'm Mittens, and this is the Stuffkin Toy Factory!"

Welcome to Stuffkins! Stuffkins (stuffed munchkins) are small little plush kitties (inspired by Beanie Baby and Build-A-Bear toys) that come to life when you sign the little cards on their ears with your name, and they make lovely little companions. Won't you take one home with you?
FAQ wrote:Q: How do I get a Stuffikin? How do adoptions work?
A: Stuffkins are released one at a time and are won through various games like raffles, naming contests, and more.
Q: Can I make my own Stuffkin?
A: Unfortunately not! You're more than free to draw your own beanie baby kitties and call them whatever you like, but you can't use my lineart without permission and it won't be recognized as an official Stuffkin unless you commission a custom (coming soon)
Q: Can I make my Stuffkin my OC/fursona? Can I transfer the design off-species?
A: Of course you can!
Q: Can I be staff?
A: Please try not to ask to join the team at random, if I ever decide to hire staff I'll let everyone know!
Q: Why did you make Stuffkins?
A: I had the idea to make an anthro user-made adoptable species for quite some time, but wasn't sure how to execute it. Then, it hit me--I love cat beanie babies, and like to collect them, and I even made some YCHs in a style I developed for them some months back. I thought turning them into a species would be a wonderful idea!
