It's a little rodent skeleton that has escaped on multiple occasions, hence why the bottle is extra sealed. Specimen 'Matthew' is a trouble maker and a scoundrel.

this specimen is very hot to the touch, leaving the glass containing it just the same. it seems to emit a blinding light, without the illusion of a glow, causing those who look upon it to squint and look away with sunspots in their eyes. not much else is known about it.

Tell me a bit about this specimen!: "Suspended in this amber substance are three small creatures. They communicate to one another from time to time, bubbling greetings and bobbing in sync. Research has shown that different tempos of music invoke unique reactions from each of them. The blue one in the middle seems partial to classical while the orange one reacts negatively to it. We'll continue conducting experiments with different beats and mayhaps even move on to other things as well."
(Also when I was little I remember having this little capsule filled with liquid and you could make this little alien that was suspended in it "dance" by pressing the buttons which was a big inspo for this haha)
