adoptables/art shop! The shop's page is written to
be read as a bit of a roleplay, or a shop being run
in an alternate universe. That being said, when you
"adopt" the familiars in this shop you can think of
it in the same way as buying art and you are not
required to be involved in the roleplay. If you want
you can simply adopt a cute critter just for the art
and then move on with your life.
I personally encourage interacting with this shop
as if it were a shop being run in an alternate
universe although please note that this page in
itself is not a roleplay topic and should not be used
as such.

Hello, and welcome, to Signature Familiars. Feel free to have a look around, perhaps even sneak a glimpse at one our special critters. "Special?" You ask? Well of course! We aren't your usual pet shop. In fact, I wouldn't call what we breed "pets" at all! The unique collection of creatures we breed, and now sell, are all from a place we have come to know as The Shifted.
I can tell that some of you have more questions, some about the workings of this shop, others about the familiars themselves and we would be happy to answer as many as we can. Of course, if you would rather get right onto viewing our collection you are more than welcome to head right on in! Just be sure to read our Rules carefully before purchasing anything from our shop. As if you are found to be breaking any of those rules it could result in a variety of consequences; including, but not limited to, the possibility of losing the right to purchase from us again, to even having your adopted familiars revoked and then rehomed

Terms and Conditions
If you wish to purchase or adopt from Signature
Familiars you are required to read the rules in
their entirety as well as agree to follow them. If
you are found to be breaking the rules in any way
it could result in, but is not limited to: being
barred from purchasing and/or adopting anything
from Signature Familiars, being banned from
interacting with Signature Familiars run threads,
or potentially having your familiars revoked and
rehomed. Repercussions for breaking the rules
will be dealt with fairly, privately, and with the
appropriate people.
By purchasing from Signature Familiars you agree
that you have read over and understand the rules
posted here as well as read and understand the
rules of the website Chicken Smoothie. The latter
can be found here.
Rule 1:
Please read all of the rules and check them every now and then. Any major changes to the rules will be announced at least a week before taking effect. Just keep an eye on it!
Rule 2:
Do not spam this thread. If you are unsure what spam is please check this thread before posting. You may: Ask questions, post purchase/adoption forms, leave a review or well worded comment (as long as it is relevant.)
Rule 3:
Be kind! I know that sounds simple but a lot of work goes into shops like this. Being respectful and kind helps everything run a little smoother. Plus, we have a zero tolerance policy for any form of harassment and if you are found to be harassing anyone you will be reported to Chicken Smoothie's team of staff.
Rule 4:
Use our forms properly. Fill out all the fields properly and do not remove anything from them. You may decorate them but they must be easily recognizable or your form will not be counted.
Rule 5:
You may privately message TogepiIsSmol if you would like to be a member of staff here or wait for us to be seeking staff and simply fill out a form. Otherwise please do not ask, thank you!
Rule 6:
You must pay before the ownership of any familiar, or their art, is formally yours. You will have 7 days until midnight(EST) at the end of the 7th day to request a refund, otherwise the purchase will be considered permanent. Once those 7 days have passed there may be no way to return your payment to you, even if your familiar ends up revoked due to breaking the rules.
Rule 7:
You may only adopt 1 free familiar every 24 hours. You may, however, purchase as many familiars as you would like, as long as you can pay for them all.
Rule 8:
You may not sell your familiars without direct permission from the owner of Signature Familiars. You may trade them for other art, as long as the person you are trading with is fully aware of where it is from and also agrees to follow the rule of Signature Familiars.

Here at Signature Familiars we do not use any special type of custom currency we simply use Chicken Smoothie's currency and Chicken Smoothie pets of equivalent value. At the moment we do not offer options to pay with any form of currency outside of Chicken Smoothie, although this may be possible in the future. How do you pay?
Simply send a trade with the appropriate amount of cs or pets of the correct rarity after completely filling out a form for the familiar and/or item you wish to purchase and posting it here. A member of staff with reach out to you directly if you are approved to purchase.
How much does this familiar/item cost?
The price of something will be listed with the familiar/item you wish to purchase.
Which familiars are for sale/adoption?
This one is pretty easy to answer! We use a sticker system here at Signature Familiars.

Prices are decided by rarity and demand. If you follow this thread over time you may notice that more sought after morphs and familiars will be higher in price while those that are not selling as well will decrease in price.
What if I don't want my familiars anymore?
If you no longer want your familiars you may surrender or them back to us, offer a trade with us (or with other owners of Signature Familiars), or trade them like any other art as long as you do not claim the art or design was created by you.
