❈ Do not use Elorshin creatures as your own
Basically, do not use the line art or likeness of the Elorshin world.
I offer these adopts for free so I can practice my digital art and exercise my creativity!
You are allowed to RP with your Elorshin creatures.
Please do not edit your creature.
Do not claim art you own as coming from Elorshin either.
Do not claim Elorshin creatures as your fursona. If you want a custom animal,
there will be openings available. You can use the likeness of your fursona
in the custom openings.

❈ You can only adopt one creature per nursery update
To take a creature into your care, you must fill out a form!
To keep up with the lore, I added some sections to fill out
about your creature's personality and history. The more detail, the better!
Generally I go by first come first serve, but if someone has a lot of adopts
compared to a new adopter, I will be giving the animal to the person with less!

❈ Do not steal someone's creature
This means do not claim a creature as your own, and if it isn't yours, do not
put it in your signature.

❈ If you no longer want your creature, do not give it to someone else
Please give your creature back to me so it can go to the laboratories' pound!
That way, your creature can have a home with someone who's been waiting for one!

❈ Please don't use chat speak
This makes it easier for me to read and understand forms!

If you break the rules more than once, you will not be welcome to care for a creature.

I have made it through the portal, and made
contact with those who inhabit this planet.
They call it Elorshin! It is astonishing, to say
the least! I cannot believe how different the
flora and fauna are from Earth! I will be making
updates to my journal as I record data about
everything I come across. As part of my job,
I will also be sending samples back to Earth.
I am hoping you receive them with love and
care, as this is part of your duty on this
funded expedition.

Journal Entry #2

I've made a mistake.

The DNA samples I sent back to Earth that contained the sequencing of the Finuar was a poor batch. In the end, only one was viable, and a caregiver by the name of beebun was more than happy to take it into her care. She named the young Zebra Finuar Maeve, which I think fits her quite well. I can't wait to hear back about her development!

In the meantime, there is another species I've come across after the Finuar. It's quite timid, but I was able to grow a close bond with one I watched from the woods. It looks to be a cross of a fox and perhaps a deer, although I'm not quite sure? The name of this species is not as original as Finuar, quite plainly, they are the Silver Deer Foxes. I'm still in the process of sequencing their DNA, so there are none available to adopt quite yet.

I just felt it right to update everyone so they know what to expect! The one pictured below is the most common patterning I've seen on these Silver Deer Foxes, however their colorings do vary. (This one will actually be available for adoption once all of the DNA is sent over!) I am looking forward to see how this species is received, and hope they all go to good homes.

I should mention, there are some eggs of a species I haven't fully documented yet that the people of Elorshin tend to test on quite often. Don't fret, the testing is harmless and is a series of studies being conducted by scientists on Elorshin. I can't say much yet as some of the information is classified, but I can provide you an idea of what they look like. If you are interested, take a look at the Events page located below the laboratory and nursery! I'm sure you'll find them intriguing!

|Personality: maeve could be described as restless - but that isn’t true. she’s just very energetic and needs to be given lots of exercise. she loves people and feels very comfortable around them. but sadly, when she’s with her own kind maeve is very timid. she’s a great working finuar, as she feels the need to move around and do something. maeve is empathetic as well, often noticing when people are hurt. overall, she’s like most finuar, but is just a lil shy when it comes to her own species.
|History: maeve was born in captivity and raised by humans. because of this, she had no problem with humans, like many finuars. she bounced around a few owners before coming back to the nursery. all complained of the same problem; she was restless. the nursery started giving her daily walks and a job such as hunting. this ‘restlessness’ disappeared in an instant. now she’s in the nursery, and the staff are searching for a home that will give her plenty of exercise, which is what her old owners didn’t do.
