Snowfall is delighted to be back at her beloved park. She used to see her stray friends every day, but now she’s a bit lonely without them. Glow has acted like a big sister to her, and that makes her feel safer. But… wouldn’t it be fun if she could look in her sneaky old hiding places and in her friends’ dens, and see if one of her best friends want to come home with her?
Maybe she should look in the big lake, too?

Other: Blueberry Pie needed a break from Banana Split, so Candlelight offered to take it to the park! Of course, Blueberry Pie accepted the offer and Banana Split was thrilled to go play at the park again! Especially with a new friend! Candlelight enjoys the dark, so he decided to go at sundown and stay until later into the night, even though Banana Split would likely fall asleep hours before they returned home. Still, Candlelight was excited to show Banana Split the stars and fireflies! Maybe tell a story about the forest being enchanted,,, Or maybe two.
Hope it's not too early to do this! <3 I got so excited to see the gates open again!

Candlelight found a nice hill for them and Banana Split to watch the stars; one far enough from the tree line so that none of the sky above was obscured. It was deep in the Park, far away from all the hotspots like the pond, and untouched by unnatural lights. Above their heads, the stars seemed to sparkle; shining brighter than Banana Split had ever seen. They were sure glad they had managed to stay awake! Though it would be a lie to say the trek out to the hill hadn't been a little scary. It was farther than they had ever been -- even Candlelight hadn't been out that far, though they wouldn't admit it. Shadows would shift at the corner of Banana Split's vision, and they'd turn to face it -- only to find nothing there. Over and over, scaring them half to death and continuously distracting them from the stars and Candlelight's stories, until- wait! That one was actually moving! Candlelight hadn't seen it, but Banana Split went ridged as slowly at first, a figure emerged from the trees. They stopped a couple times in their approach, unsure, before eventually coming to a halt at the base of the hill. It was a Stray! And it looked to be listening to Candlelight's story of the spirits which lurked in the forest. Banana Split wasn't sure if they should interrupt to let their friend know they had an audience or not.

Other: Bibarel decided to take another one of their pals along to the park!

Bibarel and Gel spent their day at the river playing alongside the banks. Bibarel fell in way too many times than they would ever care to admit -- but no worries, because Gel would tell everyone about it for them. They returned to you, soaked to the skin and exhausted.

Other: Oni goes back to the park with his parents permission not telling them about SeaStar in fear that they'd disapprove of his outsider friend. He searches on and on, even back to the place they had first met. Oni sighs in disappointment of his friend not being anywhere. Oni goes to the fountain and "BOO" SeaStar comes out of a tree scaring their new friend.

SeaStar and Oni chatted for a few hours, catching each other up on everything that had happened since they had last seen each other the week before. Oni went on about his family and all they'd been up to, where as SeaStar went on about the changing of seasons and how they'd spent nearly every day at the pond. Eventually, it came time to leave, and so they bid each other farewell before Oni returned to you, contented.

Other: Nixie and Autumn return to the park wanting to explore new places...

Nixie and Autumn decided they wanted to explore up river to see where it started, which to them sounded like a fun adventure, but in practice turned out to be a whole lot of walking. It must've been over an hour of following the riverbank before they reached an outcrop of rocks they couldn't scale. The river poured over its edge in a waterfall, cascading down the rocks and sparkling in the sun. It was beautiful! But they still wanted to know where it started. They decided they had adventured enough for the day, and after playing in the waterfall they turned back for the long trek home. But before they got too far, Nixie suddenly jumped into the water! She emerged with a silver coin clamped in her jaws, having found themselves some treasure to take back.

Grape and Cherry were overjoyed to see all the flowers in bloom now that winter had finally come to an end. They frolicked in them, admiring the beautiful plants, as well as the insects they attracted. After some time of this though, Cherry began to notice Credits littered on the ground amongst the flowers. They had Grape help them to gather all the coins up, and ended up with so many that they wouldn't hold them all! They fetched you after awhile so you could lend your pockets for their treasure.

Spruce was a little daunted by the Park and how crowded it was that day. He really wanted nothing more than to find a nice, quiet spot where he could relax for awhile and just enjoy being outside; and after dealing with the crowds for awhile, he decided to set off and find himself just that. He happened upon a nice tree some ways into the wooded area of the Park, one which had a crook among its roots where he could comfortably sit. He had just gotten settled in and let out a long breath when he heard rustling in the branches above, and looked upwards only just as a Stray leapt out of the tree! It landed much more gracefully than he expected only about a foot or so in front of him, scaring him half to death. Guess he should've checked to see if the tree was occupied first!

Other: Redd and Smudgey were pleasantly shocked to see their old favorite park's gates back open. They've spent a while exploring the mainland for the last several years, but there's nothing quite like home. Who knows how much might've changed? But first, their favorite spot to hang out ; the river!

The two Squirrels enjoyed a trip down memory lane as they made their way to the river. They reminisced about the times they had, playing with their old friends back when the Park was new. The time sure did fly by. Eventually they reached the river, and didn't hesitate to bound down the slope to its banks to play! They splashed around, feeling like kids again at the Park for the first time. But, guess they should have checked first to see if they were alone. So used to only seeing Squirrels in the Park, when Smudgey spotted a large, hulking figure on the opposite bank, they practically flew into the air with fright. When the other animal lifted its head from where it was drinking, they both quickly realized it was a Squitten -- and a Stray one, at that! Smudgey was nervous as the animal waded towards them, wondering what Squittens ate exactly. But Redd seemed chipper, and immediately greeted this new potential friend of theirs as if they'd known each other for years. Well, Smudgey reasoned, at least they seemed friendly.

Astrea had fun playing amongst the flowers, where as Rose showed their wings off to a group of awed BFL Squirrels, who just couldn't seem to get over them. Only when they started asking for a ride on their back, did Rose leave to find Atrea; not really interested in playing piggyback ride to a bunch of Squirrels.

Glow could tell that Snowfall was feeling a little homesick for their old Park even before they got there today. So almost as soon as they set off together, Glow suggested that they visit their old hangouts. Snowfall seemed ecstatic, and immediately they started off into the woods to see the Stray side of the Park. It was a lot of walking around and being shown the best places to find food, or the best tree to take naps in, or the nicest spot of shade this side of the Park. But Glow was having fun. Eventually, they came out on the other side of the woods at the lake. Not many people went over there, given you had to walk down the long hiking trails just to reach it. But as they approached, Glow noted that there were multiple figures scattered along the shore, all around the lake. Snowfall bounded up without hesitation to the nearest Stray, apparently recognizing them. Glow followed a little more slowly, just taking in the sight of their friend so happy as they reunited with an old pal of theirs.

Divina had a nice day out, but eventually grew a little snackish. She ended up near the picnic area in search of anything good that might've been discarded by careless humans. She didn't find anything to eat -- but did find a lot of Credits scattered beneath all the tables! She brought these to you as a sort of bribe to get food on the way home.

Destiny and Felicity started towards the lake, but after twenty minutes of walking and still not seeing it, decided to double back to the pond instead. They endured the crowds for a bit of swimming before returning to you, overall pleased with their day out.
