PS Hiring Event!

In this latest version of PS, we have stuck strictly to having guest staff -- members of staff who get the benefits of being on the team, but need only work when they please. This was because when I reopened the thread, I never intended for this adopt to be as popular as it is now. But with the fan base PS now has, not to mention our 10 year anniversary coming up in February of next year, I think it's high time that we make some changes to staff to reflect the growing adoptable!

I will also be taking on extra hours at my already full time job for the foreseeable future, meaning I will have considerably less time to be active on the thread -- both with posting, and making content. So now more than ever, PS is in need of extra staff to ensure we don't have to go on hiatus due to my own chaotic schedule.

So what's happening?
PS is now going to have fully fledged staff! Guest staff will still be part of the team, but our official artists and moderators will get better benefits and will have more responsibilities within the PS community. If you're interested in applying for staff, or if you're a member of guest staff who would like to move up, below are the benefits for staff of each position, and the forms to apply! c:

There is no defined amount of staff I am looking to hire. I'll close forms once I think we have enough. You may also apply for any combination of positions! You aren't limited to solely one c:

Moderator responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the management of events/games
- Helping to keep thread spam to a minimum
- Doing the occasional code drop
- Answering adopter questions
- You must be active on the thread with the minimum of 4 posts per
month to remain on staff

Thread Moderators will receive:
- Staff exclusive store prices
- A free custom every 4 months of employment
(You have the ability to design this custom personally,
should you choose)
- Half priced C$ Reserves for as long as the feature is available
- Exclusive looks at upcoming thread content, litters, and events
- 500 Credits every month as active staff

Artist responsibilities include:
- Submitting either 4 litters every month (minimum 3 pets per litter)
OR
submitting 12 individual Stray pets for the Park every month
(Or any combination thereof)
- Assisting in the creation of prizes for all events
- Remaining active in the PS community and taking all adopter
and staff feedback into account when creating adopts

Thread Artists will receive:
- Staff exclusive store prices
- A free custom every 3 months of employment
(You have the ability to design this custom personally,
should you choose)
- Half priced C$ Reserves for as long as the feature is available
- Exclusive looks at upcoming thread content, litters, and events
- You will receive the C$ from any reserves placed in litters you made
- You may place a free reserve in any litter you made with 5+ adopts
- 500 Credits every month as active staff

Guest Mod requirements:
- Help keep thread spam to a minimum
- Assist with code drops when needed
- Post on the thread at minimum once a month to remain on staff

Guest Mod benefits:
- You may benefit from the staff exclusive store prices as well
- You can be promoted to fully-fledged staff at any time you choose,
without the need of judging applications or staff apps being open

Guest Artist requirements:
- A submission of 1 litter (minimum of 3 pets)
OR
3 individual Stray pets, every 3 months
- Submitting at minimum 1 prize for all events

Guest Artist benefits:
- You may benefit from the staff exclusive store prices as well
- You will receive the C$ from any reserves placed in litters you made
- You may place a free reserve in any litter you made with 5+ adopts
- You can be promoted to fully-fledged staff at any time you choose,
without the need of judging applications or staff apps being open

Note: There are some basic rules of staff and usage of the linearts that are not listed here, but will be covered via PM should you be hired!
The requirements of official staff can also be reduced or temporarily removed for individuals during certain circumstances, like going out of town, internet issues, real life problems, etc. I still aim to have a very flexible schedule for staff here, and I'm willing to work with anyone who wants to work with us c:
