Being charmingly naive and childlike in nature, his "built-in" trustfulness and self-protection instincts clash, leaving him a little fidgety and easily frightened, yet still curious and adventurous. Only when it's light enough to see though, caaause he's terrified of the dark. When it gets too dark outside to see, he seeks comfort in the lights of human houses (only sometimes does he try to go inside, humans can also be quite frightening), street lights, or the bellies of his friends, the fireflies. Sometimes, when it's only dark enough to smudge the outlines of everything, he's afraid of his own shadow because the lack of direct light deforms its curves and length. He also doesn't like being alone for too long, especially in unfamiliar areas and gloomy weather. He's very friendly - to fellow cryptids, other woodland inhabitants and even humans (who usually mistake him for a weird baby fox), and prefers when he has a companion to spend time with. Overall, he's babie.
