Possible Species? - Interest Check

Hello there! I've had this idea for say.. Two or three years now and I've doodled them a few times, but didn't really do much with them. I though about turning them into a species, but soon trashed it. Now I'm back again to get an interest check. They'll go through a few revamps before I set on a final basic design. Here's a few design concepts;

I love both of these designs!
One thing that sticks out to me in the second one is that it’s tail sort of just abruptly ends. I think it would look great if it ended like the tail in the first design!
I also really enjoy how almost triangular the face is in the first design. It is very unique and looks awesome with the rest of the design!

Either way these are both so great, you are very talented!!

Aah glad to hear. c: And yeeah the second one is actually a redesign for myself so that's just kind of something for his design only (I just found he was extremely similar and might be a good revamp for the original species design in general, but wasn't too sure.)
Aah yeah the face was my biggest 'hmm' thing. It's a bit awkward to work with so I'm not sure if I'll keep it, but yess. c:
