become a beast master
If ever a place existed, especially if, it would be located in the Amazon, guarded by many natural wonders that call it home. These creatures, if ever seen in the wild, are interesting beasts that are elusive to the world and only make themselves known when a threat had presented itself. It's because of their natures that man kind is so interested in them, because only the few that stumble across this beckoning cave find themselves in a deep pit of mystery.
The lair itself has dozens of tunnels, yet only one pathway seems to take any strange, and lucky, traveler to find the real treasure. It has been said that these people are actually chosen by fate to be the new generation's beast masters and finding the treasure at the end of the path is a new beginning to a new life filled with adventure, anticipation, and danger. After all, what lies at the end of that one tunnel is a collection of eggs... and a very proud mother...The Adoption Process
Well, if you were in the Amazon, and you were one of the chosen beast masters, you could only carry one egg out at a time because of the sheer size of this egg. You'd have to keep it with you at all times, keeping it warm and safe from predators. Luckily for you, this is the interwebz and you can be as lazy as you want while you adopt your new beast. Of course, you can only adopt 1 pet at a time, and when your egg hatches, you're allowed to adopt another.
To adopt, all you have to do is just copy and paste the code that I provide into your post telling me that you want to adopt your beast egg. After that, I must require you to only display your adoptable on ChickenSmoothie, via pasting it into your signature/trades settings/profile/whatever. If you want me to make you a custom avatar of your favorite beast, just post below and I'll whip one up for you quickly. However you must be quick, because I'll only have a single species up for adoption for a limited amount of time. After that, you can't adopt any more of that creature (unless I rerelease them).Post-Adoption Stuff
After you adopt your egg, it'll grow. How so? To make it short and sweet, I'll post up each stage as I go along and you'll have to be the one to update your beast's information. You don't have to repost saying that you're going to update your pet, since I'll already know that you've adopted one in the first place.Other Information
I won't be taking requests to breed beasts with one another. I don't have that kind of artistic muse at the moment. I opened Medousa's Lair simply because I love art and I want to share my creations and I want to better myself as an artist. I want to do this for the fun of it, and right now, I don't want to be hounded for custom breedings and making a new litter based off the parents. I'm sure I'll do a second gen pairing eventually, though perhaps not by user request.
If you have constructive criticism, please feel free to send me a private message. Like I said, I want to better myself, so I need to know what's wrong if you see something. If you're particularly mean, hateful, or you want to mini-mod, not only will I foe you, I'll send in a report, too.
My art is not to be used for personal or commercial gain, other than showing it off in your signature/trade's settings/profile, anywhere feasibly possible to post the code, on ChickenSmoothie. You are not to display your adoptable off site, unless permission is specifically gained through private messaging or e-mail.
