What are Radiant Sun Dragons?

Radiant Sun Dragons (often
abbreviated as RSD) are a
sub-species of feathered
dragons.

They have curled, gecko-like
tails, large paws, winged ears,
and large wings. They also have
heated horns, teeth, and claws.
And last, their most important
possession: their Core.

The Core is responsible for
most of their actions and
works alongside their brain
to communicate and function.
The more "wedges" a Core has,
the more power the RSD has.
The Core is also responsible
for their ability to transform
into light and fuse into their
orb in the Spire.

What is the Spire?

The Spire is the true home of
the Radiant Sun Dragons. While
many dragons leave the Spire
to find a home more suitable
to live in, a part of them always
feels that they should return.

The Spire is a large pillar made
up of an ancient marble. At the
very top lies a pool of brightly
colored water that constantly
swirls into a whirlpool. No one
really knows what happens if
a dragon jumps in.

A large, spiraling wire runs
along the outside of the pillar.
The wire is decorated with
glowing orbs where dragons
can live by breaking down into
light and fusing into an orb.

❂ Please refrain from claiming this species, artwork, and unique aspects of the thread as yours.

❂ Don't spam the home thread. If you'd like to chat with other users or show off your dragons, use the discussion thread!

❂ Radiant Sun Dragons are a closed species. Do not make your own without consent.

❂ Staff are allowed 1 (one) free Rare MYO ticket. If you cannot draw out your design, you may exchange the ticket for a Rare Custom ticket. This rule only applies to staff.

❂ Selling your RSD is prohibited. Trading is perfectly fine, as long as both users contact myself or a mod and are approved.

❂ You may gift a dragon to another user with approval from myself or a mod.

❂ If you gift or trade a dragon to another user, you have given them rights to the dragon. They are not obligated to give it back without good reason. Please be careful with your favorite dragons and who you trade with!

❂ Please refrain from modding unless you are a mod yourself.

❂ You do not need permission to add accessories to any dragon, as long as the accessory isn't a permanent feature (hole earrings, tattoos, etc).

Currency

Here in the market, we use a currency called Orbs! Yes, the very orbs seen on the Spire where many dragons live in. There are tons of Orbs scattered around the world that aren't attached to the Spire, and make the perfect currency. No one knows how they're made, but they seem to pop up out of nowhere and are rather plentiful.

If you would like to gather some orbs, please send a trade to sᴄʏʟʟᴀ. Make sure it is set as an acceptable trade and you include a message that lets me know it is for currency. If for any reason you can't send a message, please rename the pets you're trading to "For Orbs".

In order to request a custom Radiant Sun Dragon, you will need to either have purchased or won a custom ticket! Depending on what type of ticket you purchase, you will be able to select traits. For example, a rare custom ticket will allow you to select up to 3 rare traits, 3 uncommon traits, and 5 common traits all together.

The current tickets that exist and are valid are listed down below.

Radiant Sun Dragons is officially open for posting! I am super excited for this thread to finally get under way after two days of hard work. There are currently two adopts up to start things off! <3

The thread will have regular updates and optimizations as time goes on, and things like events and the nursery will be added soon!
