Yeah, it's been super dead... I'venot been putting much effort into the farms either since I started the aquarium store, but if more people become active this summer, I'll start being active again too ^_^ Here's the farm!

Summer event date set!

So the date for the summer event has been set! It'll start on July 1st and run for two weeks, and the theme will be treasure hunting! I would love some suggestions on what to do for the event, as I'm drawing a bit of a blank. I don't think it'll be a big affair, but I do have a question for you: would you be interested in a sort of joint event with my other thread, Aquariums? It'll enable me to make things a little bigger, as I'll technically only have one big event to keep track of instead of two smaller ones. It won't mean you will lose out on ant stuff or anything, just that you can probably share tokens between the threads, and do the same activities but only once a day shared between the threads.


The banner for the event has also been made, and the ant portion will be land based:


Activities I've thought about are:

kids fishing: a sheet is hung up on a line, and you throw a fishing line over it and "fish" for goodies!

Treasure diving/digging: dive or dig for goodies and treasure!

Pirate battle: you do a mock battle and will either win or lose depending on a random generator. Winners get a price!

Chest opening: collect daily goodies from a chest!



If you think the event should be extended to a whole month, let me know as well!


Due to lack of interest, this event is cancelled.

Every event I've held seems to only make people come for free stuff, not use it and then leave. There is no interest any more, so I don't think I'll be doing any more proper events unless things pick up. I just don't have the energy to put out on this if nobody really is invested.

I'll probably not put much effort in these any more, although the thread will still be up and available for orders.

You can still order farms and use any stored items, so no need to worry about this closing down completely. I just can't put energy into an event for this thread and the aquarium thread at the same time if nobody actually uses what they get from it. Several of the empty farms I've given out from events are still unused, along with a lot of items everybody's hoarding...

I really appreciate your continued interest though, Moonstar! You've been one of those who've kept this store open at all once it stopped being visited and ordered from regularly.
