Welcome to the Bloat Bear Shelter. Here we have a the world's only domestic breed of bear, before you adopt, a little about these massive beasts. Bloat Bears are closely related to Polar Bears, sharing some characteristics such as webbed paws and thick fur. They come in a wide verity of colours and markings, no two are the same. They have a very likeable personality, usually friendly and relaxed, they are a loving and easy going pet for any sized home, despite their massive size. They are easy to train and love to learn new things, this keenness to learn can lead to destructive behaviour, but a reasonable owner will always leave them something to do. Some people may be wondering why they are called Bloat Bears? They were given their name for their massive appetite and fat bellies. A Bloat Bear may be the same size as a Polar Bear, but they can eat four time as much daily. Bloat Bears in captivity have been known to grow to be so fat, they are immobile. These bears do well in any environment, they can live in small apartments or giant houses, they make the most of any space they have. Very tolerant, they make great family pets or just companions for those who like their own space.

Now you know a bit about these domestic bears, I'm sure you'll want one of your own. Here at the shelter, we're happy to let you browse and adopt one of our bears!

Welcome to the Adoption Hall, take a look around, all these Bloat Bears need homes. Don't worry if you come by and there's not much to choose from, the rangers bring in new bears all the time and there's bound to be the perfect bear out there for you somewhere!
There is no adoption limit, but please, be reasonable, other people will want them too. To get one, just fill out the adoption form and post it. Each adoption form for each Bloat Bear will be posted under the Bloat Bear's image. It's first come, first served.

When Bloat Bears are adopted out, the owner is given the choice of if they want their bear to be bred with or not. If they choose yes, the bear will be listed here so other people can see it and choose to breed from it. The cub will be a hybrid of both parents or more like one than the other, who knows? It's a mystery what the cub will be, colour, gender, markings...it's all chance!
To breed, you need to fill out the form below, choose a male and female Bloat Bear and wait to see if your request has been accepted or rejected. Females on a cool down will have a strike on their name till the cool down is over. Breeding costs, to breed a cub, it will cost 1 rare or 5C$. Payment must be sent as soon as your request has been accepted, we will not take the payment till the cub is ready.
All cubs will be given to you as adult bears, you can choose if you want them for breeding or not.
