This is your archivist. I know I have been inactive lately but with the stress from moving, learning how to take care of my first dog, stress at work, and my mental health I needed to step away for a while and take care of myself and my new service dog in training. (Whom is napping next to me as I type this XD) I am going to pull an all nighter and try to get the archives caught up. I hope everyone can forgive me for being incositent with updates. But I am doing my best to work around Real life and this website. Announcement!

Hello everyone, sorry for being quiet for so long.
Chiryuus ended up on hiatus for longer than I'd expected. The last ~7 months have been full of IRL stress and anxiety, and I still do not have the energy to start this back up again.

I'm not abandoning Chiryuus, I'm way too attached for that, but when I eventually do start this back up, it's most likely going to be V3, with some major changes from the current things.

I have no ETA for when Chiryuus get back up, but unless I specifically state otherwise, they're not abandoned or completely closed down, regardless of how long it takes.

Announcement!

It's... been a while again.
It's been a wild year year for me and I haven't had time, interest or energy to work on anything Chiryuu related, and to be honest, it most likely isn't going to get easier.
What I'm saying is, I'm not sure I'll be able to run Chiryuus the same way I used to.

I'm still not entirely sure how to about the species in the future. I've been considering everything from giving the species to someone else (which is unlikely because I get way too attached to things I've made), making them an open species (which may be complicated because of people having bought custom orbs etc), and at some point starting to run them again but in a less active format (most likely), I've even considered making them a semi-open species (Chiryuus with very common-uncommon mutations being free to make while ones with very uncommon+ ones would have to be adopted).
If any of you happen to read this, please tell me your opinion and suggestion on what you think would be a good way to continue with Chiryuus.

(I've also been considering removing the 'rehoming Chiryuus after the owner has been inactive for 2+ years' rule, because I feel bad taking them back from people :'D )
