Ashen was abandoned as a pup. He was very weak and unable to fend for himself. He somehow found a cave to take residence in for a few years until he grew stronger. He was only able to eat plants and insects and had no skill in hunting at the time. He was accepted into a pack of other abandoned Caxical and was taught to fight and hunt but he did not feel he fit in. Ashen decided he was better off living by himself; he preferred to eat plants and insects rather that other animals anyways. He wanered back to his cave where he found that humans had taken over. Ashen had no idea what a human was at the time so he entered the cave. The humans were amazed at his bravery and wanted to keep him as a hunting dog. There was only one problem with that, Ashen did not like to hunt. He didn't eat other animals so there was no point to hunt them. The humans were very upset at this and sold him to a man at a market. They collected their money and left him with the stranger. By now, Ashen was used to humans and didnt have a problem with them, but this was not like the other humans. He was very abusive and hurt his animals. A month or so later, Ashen was taken back to the market to be sold again exept this time, a young boy and his mother walked by just as the man put Ashen on the table. The man was whacking and shoving Ashen and this made the passerby very mad. She started arguing with the man and the little boy was scared and started holding Ashen. After a while of fighting, the young boy got bored and told Ashen that nothing like this would happen to him again. The new friends walked up to a large building where Ashen could hear other Caxical barking and howling. The young boy explained to Ashen that this was a place where a nice person could come and take him home to be loved, where for now, Ashen would be with his own kind and just play and have fun. This was a place that Ashen was safe. The young boy handed Ashen over to a kind woman behind a counter. She said that this was an Adoption Center and everything would be okay now. Ashen still wanted to play with the young boy, but he had already left. Ashen soon forgot this when he saw all the other Caxical Playing and having fun. He watched as humans came in and took some of his friends to live with them. Ashen wanted to be taken to a home too. One day, he saw a human come in and fill out many forms. He wondered if this would be the day that he would go home, but for now, all he could do was watch the human. He wanted to leave with her and she wanted Ashen, but the lady behind the counter did not know if this was a good idea. Ashen was still young, and she wanted to make sure he went to a good home. The other lady respected that, left her forms for the adoption center to look over, and left. Ashen wished that the adoption center would let him go home with the lady, but did not know if he could. So now, Ashen waits patiently for the lady to come back and pick him up. He waits for the adoption center to say okay. But being a very impatient little Caxical, he tries to find his own was out but always seems to fail. If only the lady would come back for him soon. Then he would be a very happy Caxical.
