Hey OO fans! I came up with a new idea, and was wondering what you all think about it.
So, the idea is:
There's this leaderboards ranking system, where every owl that wants to participate is on.
Owls can move up in rank by "challenging" the owl in the rank above them. In a challenge, I'll put the owl of the higher rank in a random name picker twice, and the challenger (lower rank) in the name picker once. Then, I'll pick a name, and if the lower ranked owl gets picked, they'll switch places with the higher ranked owl. If the higher ranked owl is picked, both owls will stay where they are. An owl can only challenge another owl once per day.
Owls will also have a certain amount of points, which determine their place on the leaderboard. The more points, the higher the place. Points can be found in adventures, or also paid for with opals. When an owl beats another owl in a challenge, they'll get one more point than the owl they challenged.
So for example, let's say owl A is in 7th place, and owl B is in 8th place. Owl A has 63 points, and owl B has 59 points. If owl B wins the challenge, owl B will then be in 7th place and owl A will be in 8th place. Owl B will now have 64 points, one more than owl A, and owl A will still have 63 points.
At the end of every month, there'll be a raffle for something, and depending on an owl's rank, they'll get their username put into the drawing more or less times. If there are 12 owls on the leaderboard, the owl in first place will get their name in the drawing 12 times, and the owl in 12th place will get their name in the drawing one time. Second place would get their name in 11 times, etc.
