Sugarcanes are a semi-domesticated species that roams the Arabian,Gobi,Kalahari,Sahara and Wahiba Sand deserts. Some are wild, while others are tamed and used for a wide range of tasks. They have beautiful designs being named after fruits or sweets that looked alike.

Physical traits
- Sugarcanes usually stand anywhere from 154cm(5ft) to 243cm(8ft) (at shoulder)
- They can also weigh from 453kg(1,000lbs) to 4082kg(9,000lbs)
- Their necks,bodies and legs are long and chubby-looking.
- Sugarcanes usually have colors that are natural,pastel, or just in-general pleasant to the eye, very rarely is it bright neon
- They do not have lips like in a dog or feline, instead, they have a "W" look.
- They have 5 toes on their front feet and 4 on their back.
- Their snouts are long they do not have a nose like in a dog, they only have nostrils.
- The amount of fur depends on where they are located

Subspecies
Laini subspecies - Common
- Range from 5-10ft in height
- Smooth bellied, short coats but stretchy skin (to keep moisture in and absorb heat)
- Usually do not have manes
- Main diet is cacti
- Are commonly found in the Sahara dessert, but very rarley in the Gobi.
- Usually has short, bobbed tails.
- Can be tamed easily, gentle temper and a breeze to handle.
Kifalme subspecies - Rare - Range from 10-12ft in height
- Long, sometimes curly fur is all across their body, tough and rought-feeling skin (blocks heat, absorbs moisture)
- Have manes, the larger the mane the more fur it has.
- Main diet is fruits and vegtables, only eats meat if it's a last resort.
- Commonly found in the Gobi, it is almost impossible to find them anywhere else.
- Long, curled/shaped tails.
- May have trouble taming, can get spoiled if used to being pampered, overall easy to handle.
Uzuri subspecies - Very Rare - Range from 7-15ft in height
- Smooth bellied, skin is soft and feels like peach fuzz (absorbs some heat, locks in moisture and keeps it in)
- Can have either long or short hair, although medium is more common.
- Some have manes while others don't, they mostly have a little fluff.
- Main diet is fruits and specific meats.
- Strictly found in the Kalahari desert, cannot be found anywhere else.
- Medium tails, can be shaped.
- Nearly impossible to tame, you must catch them when they're newborns in order to tame them, can easily become spoiled or aggresive if subjected to the slightest bit, takes a expert to understand and handle them.

Wild Sugarcanes
- Sugarcanes who have yet to be tamed live in groups, they are never lone
- Groups tend to have more females
- They are more aggresive and jumpy towards humans
Domestic Sugarcanes - They enjoy the company of humans
- Most can live without the company of others Sugarcanes
- They are very intelligent and open for learning

Offspring
- Sugarcanes are born from eggs and hatch after 6-8 weeks
- Their fur is a pale gray which turns brighter as they age, if designs are present they will be a darker shade.
- When they are born they're blind and deaf. They will still need their mothers care
- Genders are equal, sometimes there may be one or two more.
