Why I want these: I like the idea of this two-in-one-mermaid alot
Merfolk Names: Leth (the male one) and Phàiste (the female one). Leth-phàiste means twin in scottish-gaelic.
Story: It is known that the sun and the moon have long ago fallen in love with eachother. But every day when the sun appeared, the moon had to leave the sky, and after waiting for him to come back the whole day the sun had already vanished before she could catch a glance of him. They both became very sad in their unfullfillable desire for eachother, and so the sun turned to the sea, which she was always shining above, for advise.
"Please help me", she cried, " so that I can see my lover for once!". "I cannot make the moon come out at day", replied the sea, "but if you both can give me one of your beams, your dream will come true nevertheless."
So the sun and the moon gave the sea a little of their light as they were shining on her and waited anxious for her to fullfill her promise. After they had waited for seven days, the sea turned to the sun again. "I have created one more of my children. But this is a special one, for it bears both your features. At day, you can look down to an image of your lover now, while the moon can admire you at night."
And this is the story how the twin-merfolk was created and the sun and the moon were finally united in their love.
