Rules for Adoption:
This is not first come first serve but based on your form
I choose the winner once we have suffice t applications.
You may try for one Haimavati per adoption round
You may own only up to four Haimavati's at this time
Do not steal any of the art
If taken off site please credit donkeykong for the lineart and me for the designs, preferably with it linking back to this page.
Do not PM me asking how your form is or when this will end
Do not be upset if you do not win, there will be others

Below is a general guideline for adopting a Haimavati though I encourage you to add as much as you want and to pretty up the forms. I can say with certainty that I am looking for people who put effort into their application for these adoptables, the more stories or art or dislikes etc. etc. the better.

You may commission others to write stories or create art for you but please give them credit. Should you lose any art done shall go to the winner unless you state otherwise in your form.

Frozen Mountain Pass

Every now and then Frozen Crystals can be found in the Frozen Mountain Pass, under the light of a full moon one could use these crystals to create their very own Haimavati.

To order a custom you need a Frozen crystal which can be purchased through the Glacier Market

Frozen Crystal- 100 snowflakes: Once a blue moon these crystals appear in the cliff face of the mountains. These precious gems when used under a full moon allow the bearer to pull from creation their very own customized Haimavati.

Love Hibiscus- 50 snowflakes: These strongly scented flowers when given to two adult Haimavati allows them to have anywhere from 1-4 offspring. The Haimavati's must be adults, it can be two females, male/female or male/male, they must both be yours or you must have consent from the other user.







Here in the snowy depths of an underground cavern lay the Icicle bank where the Haimavati's keep their snowflakes, a currency used to trade for various goods.


Below lies how to trade for snowflakes and which members currently have currency.

Guidlines for 2014-2011 Pet Values:*

Advertisement Challenge

To help spread the word about Haimavati Adopts, I am opening a competition to work a little on advertisement.

This is how it works, for each task below that you accomplish, you get a mini prize listed next to it and a number of points, the person with the top number of points at the end of the event will receive a free custom or breeding crystal.

(Latin form of Greek 'Keyx', possibly meaning "kingfisher.")

Bio/History/Personality:
Given that his colors are so bright and colorful,
he often finds himself starving some nights as he cannot hunt.
He does have better chances during the night but he often relies on others for help.
When others are away, he takes pickings out of their lunch/killed prey.

He often finds himself wandering at night under a starry sky.
Never had he caught himself wandering at night when they didn't appear in the darkened sky.
Also, he loves swimming in the darkened waters. Of course, he checks for danger before swimming.
He'll swim in it even if the water didn't glisten under the stars. To him, the moon is just fine.

He isn't really the socializing type as most find him odd for his coloration.
Since his colors are so bright and loud, his species will often look away from him and shun him.
Most of the time, he ignores it and moves on.
People walking away will just shorten the long lines for him.

He doesn't think much, he isn't too complicated when thinking either.
He can be considerate and take their feelings into account but the majority of the time, he ignores them and moves on.
It's that he doesn't show feeling to strangers which is technically everybody in his book.
Having no friends doesn't seem to bug him at times as it gives him time to finish his duties and have a lot of free time on his paws.

He can be found watching birds and such.
He oftens uses them as practice for hunting.
Normally he catches one rather than the average feline which is about 2-3.
However, his chances of catching birds, whether in daylight or at night, are very little.
They are hard to catch since they are able to take flight very quickly and he can be a bit slow.
