It's the same with his riders too, and if he doesn't feel like behaving, he won't listen to your commands. Because of his attitude, he requires a strong rider that's not afraid to push him around. If you're not tough with him, he'll immediately think it's okay to do what he wants instead of what he has to. On good days, when he actually listens, he's a relatively good show horse and can score high in local competitions. He's still not ready for the big leagues, however, as he's quite a bit of work to handle.

Occasionally, he can become a bit fast at the canter, but it's easy to bring him down to a reasonable pace as long as you keep a gentle reign. In the barn he's one of the more social horses, and you can here him from a mile away. He has a habit of neighing out loud when he's bored, and he doesn't let up until someone either gives him a treat, or puts him in the field. The other horses don't mind too much, but it'd be nice if he didn't do it all night too!

It's believed that she'll one day become an excellent competitor in the show ring, and that she may even surpass her mother in skill level.

personality: Mystery is one of the few western horses at northfield, and has a calm and laid-back attitude to match. His gate's are relatively smooth too, and his only flaw would have to be his laziness. During the walk he has a tenancy to stretch his neck and fall asleep, so he needs to be kept active at all times. Also, he requires a bit of extra work to get him to pick up the canter and to actually keep it at an acceptable pace. If you're not paying attention, he's bound to go back down to the trot in no time at all.

personality: Living up to his name, Diablo is a feisty horse that can hardly be ridden without a fight. He doesn't have much experience under saddle either, and currently isn't adjusting very well as a show horse in training. Often times he'll pull at the bit or throw his head up as an act of defiance towards his rider. On even worse days, he might go into a fit, completely knocking his rider to the ground and darting off to the other side of the ring. Either way, his bad habits make him a menace to ride. While it would be easier to give up and ship him off to another barn, the riders at northfield cling to hope that he'll eventually calm down with age. If not, then he'll most likely be gelded. Until then, he's still in training to do either jumping or cross country depending on what the future holds.

She needs a more cautious rider to tame her impulse control, otherwise she'll bolt and crash through obstacles until her rider is lost to her chaos. Luckily it's not hard for a rider to remain vigilant knowing her history, and as long as control is emphasized: she can be quite a formidable competitor.

personality: Hitman is a mild-mannered and elegant horse, albeit a tad unpredictable when you consider his bizarre tendencies. It seems as though this horse can ignite at a moment's notice, kicking and bucking in short fits, but always settling down just as quickly as his outburst began. Obviously said behavior has given him quite the reputation, but aside from those isolated incidents he seems to be the picture perfect horse of everyone's dreams. Nobody is sure what brings on these fits, but it's been speculated that he's simply after attention above all else. It's also worth nothing that nobody is ever hurt during these events, and his movements are more like destructive frolicking than anything aggressive. Whatever's going through his head, Hitman is undoubtadly an excellent companion and will follow his rider's lead without question. You just have to make sure to keep him the center of attention, otherwise he'll steal the spotlight at any cost.
