It's nice to see that you all like PS so much ^^. But there are still the issues of inactive staff members and how nobody is ever on here anymore. If we can somehow bring new adopters to PS, as well as keep the thread active so I don't have to bump the last post every morning, and hire new staff, then PS will be made on a V.4 and kept open ^^.

And this thread is still open for the time being, so I'm going to have to ask you guys to keep from making short posts ^^. Like I said, comments are fine, but please don't make a post with less than six words c: I care way to much about this place .-.

A referral competition would be a great idea to keep the spirit of PS alive and create some friendly competition to also bring new adopters to PS! ^^ (And of course we all love PS, and we want you to know that we truly appreciate everything you do for us Dove, and from the bottom of my heart I plead you to keep this going. I will do whatever I can to help, I promise <3)

Since I've been a member of PS for a good 1-2 years, I would like to put my two cents in. I will agree that the thread is dying, which is quite sad. I'm sorry that I haven't been doing much - (I'm also sick and I cough every 5 seconds D:). I will say that PS has been a great community, starting with our origins - You, Diamondshine101, Annecom, l.h, and I, and has continued to grow into something new. It would be miserably sad to see Pixel Squirrels come to a close and be opened by someone else because Dove, you are a great owner. I would say to take a leap and go for whatever has majority votes, for I don't think I'll be voting for this pole, since it is you, senpai, who decides if PS should close the curtains or put on a new act. I would agree that we should put PS on a hiatus for a week or two so artists can catch up on unfinished litters, but remember, it is up to you!

Seeing that you have many supporters behind you, maybe you could open the 'guest artist' position to anyone, and not just former members of staff. I think possibly guest litters with a limited option for lines would do it (maybe only the original lines so that artists won't feel like they're being treated as guest artists). Anyway, I've said enough. I hope you make the right decision Dove :)

I fell in love with Pixel Squirrels the moment I saw one in someone's signature and I've been stalking the place ever since, so I would like to humbly request that it doesn't close *hugs*

If you need to start a new thread, that's perfectly ok. Sometimes when you get past 100 pages, it can get a bit cluttered and messy.

I also agree with the over-enthusiastic moderation of some people, when you stamp down on every comment, we're all too scared to say anything between litters?

I make sure I keep one of my squirrels in my signature at all times, so that people can come here if they want to, it's linked to the main thread, so there's always an open referral in my signature.

Firing the inactive staff does seem like a good idea, if they can't commit, they shouldn't take the job. And if something affects their ability to do the job, they should stand down and let an active member take their place.

But you should also make time for yourself as well, so you don't end up feeling stressed about PS, instead of loving them. When it becomes too much hard work, it loses it's feeling of fun, and we don't want that for you! <3

Please don't close Pixel Squirrels, it's so cute and was my first adoptable I found on CS. It's also my favorite, I really hope this place doesn't close! I'm sure many new people like me would love to become staff on Pixel Squirrels to replace the staff who are inactive C:.
