Tumbleweed looks at you and waggs his tail happily. The other wolf is confused at the sudden friendliness shown by you and your wolf, but it doesn't seem aggravated. It backs slowly away, and seems ready to run. What do you do?

I grab a snack I had packed for myself and Tumbleweed, giving half to my wolf to prove it's safe and gently rolling a quarter of it towards the other wolf. My hope is that it will make them stay.

My bad! I'll fix it here:

I look around for something to show I'm friendly, and find a few flowers. It's not much, but I hope it might work. I hand Tumbleweed one of the flowers, setting the other one on the ground and backing up further, trying to encourage the other wolf to go up to the small gift.

I hope flowers are okay?

The wolf shows no interest in the flowers.It returns to its running position.

Uncertain of what to do I try a different tactic. I do my best to communicate to Tumbleweed that I want him to say hello to the other wolf while being mindful of that wolf's personal space.
