- Pupkits are adorable little Pomeranian-sized creatures that appear to be a cross between a puppy and a kitten, hence their name. They're very energetic animals, and can't seem to sleep for more than two hours before they're up and at it again. Pupkits are born small enough to fit inside a teacup, and grow to be only about 5-10 lbs as adults. They're fully mature at the age of 1 year, and have a lifespan of 4-6 years in the wild, and 7-12 years in captivity. Pupkits are mostly carnivorous, their main diet consisting of small mice, voles, and eggs. They sometimes fish, but this is rare. Pupkits are also known to snack on blueberries and raspberries. Due to their friendly behavior, Pupkits are fantastic family pets, and are great with all ages able to keep up with their fast moving lifestyle. Pupkits require little space to roam around, so a small back yard will due if you wish to adopt one, but that doesn't mean they're not active. They're mostly diurnal, meaning they play in the day, but younger Pupkits are notorious for running around in the middle of the night, or early morning before the sun rises up. They will eventually grow out of this. The main cause of death in the wild is neither disease nor starvation, but predators. Pupkits are often the victim of hungry wolves, coyotes, hawks, and many others, and due to their bright colours they have trouble hiding. Pupkits mate for life once they've found a partner, and will have one litter of 3-6 pups every year until they can't give birth any more.
