Africanus Pardalis
The Africanus Pardalis is a donkey like creature that originates from and lives in the world of Lyphus, where humans do not exist, alongside the Lycaon Gryphus. Afridalis' stand around 15.hh to 18.hh tall, and weigh around a thousand pounds or a little more. They have general body type of a donkey with the exception of two different unique manes, a slightly longer tail and unique two-toed hooves. Their hair/fur is about two inches thick but can grow out to about five inches thick in the winter time for protection from the elements. They often make horse or equine like sounds like nickers, whinnies, neighs, and brays but only when frightened or when they are communicating. Other than that they are actually very quiet. Females are called JENNY'S and males are called JACK's. Afridalis' don't particularly age but go through three stages, foal, adolescent/teen, and adult. Once an adult they show no signs of aging. Therefore it is impossible to tell how many years old they are. Aging varies for all Afridalis, therefore it is impossible to tell their actual age. They don't from natural causes either and big cats are their only enemies.
