Lesser Pixie Dragons Adoptions
I know what you must be thinking. "What is a Lesser Pixie Dragon?"
These are the lines I made and will be using.
Appearance
A Lesser Pixie Dragon (Draco faeris minimus), is a, you giessed it, dragon. They get their name from their small size. They never exceed six inches at the shoulder, and, stretched nose to tail, no more than a foot long. They are covered in fur, short and softer than a baby's blanket. The fire on their "mane" area, their tail, and their ankles are a longer, thicker, downy-like fluff. Their ears are twice as long as their head, and are covered in long feathers. The primary feathers (the longer ones,) are always a different color than the secondary feathers (the shorter ones, by the top of the ear.). They always have Antennae on their heads, ending in fearhery 'feelers'. They have teeth, like a cat's, and a tongue that is almost like a dog's, bit shorter, and they don't slobber. Their claws, small and always black, are retractable. They have long, fluffy tails with a long-furred 'fluff' at the end of it. Their eyes are large, and they have the pupils of a cat, but much larger, to the point where you are unable to see the color unless they change the size of them.
Behavior
A LPD is usually... Well, actually, there is no usual! They can vary from grumpy old hag to a living, spirited child. it can have something to do with their fur color, but then again it may not.
Gems and Home Fluff
Gems:
When a LPD is born, it appears from its Home (commonly called its 'home fluff' or just 'fluff') with a jewel in its paws. The jewel can be in the shape of either a heart, diamond, circle (sphere), oval, square, triangle, crescent, or star. Inside, is a swirling mist of color, corresponding to the coat of the dragon. This gem, when bonded to a topper with a ring on it, is put on the necklace or (charm) bracelet of the owner of the creature. This gem must be worn at all times, or be close to the owner (within a few feet) in order for the LPD to stay bonded.
Home Fluff:
In order to explain the Home Fluff, I need to first explain the breeding process of LPDs. These dragons mate for life, commonly using ceremonies much akin to our (humans) weddings. When they find another Pixie that they like, they first test the waters. They will touch the other with their tail, on the shoulder, normally. After that, if the other also has feelings, they will go into eachother's homes. Inside the home of the Male, there is a small plant, with fruit-like berries growimg from it. The female will eat these berries, and wait as the make prepares a nest for the female, the mother, to rest in for the four days of pregnancy. After the four days, she will last a single egg, of a single color, normally the base color for the baby dragon. As the egg ages, fur begins to grow on it. Soon, the small fluff has to be taken from the mother's nest, into another nest, outside, in the human world. After this process (siz days after the berries were eaten,) the fluff will open up, and a small, baby dragon will crawl out, its gem in its hands. At this age, they are about half the size they will end up as, and clumsy.
They are full grown at about 2 months, and after that, age much like humans do. Their life span is approximately 100-150 years old. The oldest (from legend) died at the age of 326.
Home Fluff is a literal, ball of fluff, that when touched by the Pixie's feelers, opens like a flower to a room. This room is very personalized, and different for every dragon. Noone can open it other than the dragon who hatched from it. It is more of a doorway than anything else, so you can hold it in your pocket, without worry of flattening the dragon.
