Moonborns vary in size and appearance but they always have a MASSIVE tail and they can be small enough to sit on your shoulder or as big as a lion! They can survive anywhere and the colour of their pelt tells you where they live, like if one had a white pelt it would live in a snowy place and so on. They lived underground so they had no contact with humans until a meteor fell from the moon and made a hole in the earth, the moonborns (which just looked like normal wolves) then raced towards it to see what it was then there was a blue glow and every moonborn then grew a massive tail and the ability to talk telepathically to their one human companion who they find during their travels, and thats how they got their name. When moonborns find their human companion their lives are linked together so if one dies so does the other which is why moonborns are extremely protective.
