Long ago, before the time of Oda Nobunaga, silent wolves with long fluffy necks and wise looks with their calm, closed eyes roamed the mountains of wisdom and prosper. However, nobody knew what these mountains were called- all information on these mountains had vanished in the war- so did the wolves. They were kind and helpful to those who were lost and never attacked a single soul, unless they sensed a killing intent. They were wiped out- or were said to be- in the war, and the mountains vanished into thin air. Some say the mountains flew to the heavens, some say they sank to the ground. Others said they were never there. Okamiaru [okami-aru] were called "Wolves of Legends". But really, are they legends? Or are they real?



The features of these wolves are:
-Long, fluffy necks
-Closed eyes
-Poofy tail
-Long legs
-Large ears
They are usually docile and sweet, never attacking a soul unless they sensed a killing intent. They are helpful to everyone, helping them in every way they can. They don't eat a lot and their diet consists of vegetation as well as meat. They sometimes have mutations to them to represent different things- but not always. They can come in any colour. They're the same size as wolves, but leaner.

-You may not steal the lines because I'm fond of them [also applies to friends, not that I doubt them. WHAHAHA]

Do not ask to be a staff. When I need them, I will open staff positions.
Do not give your Okamiaru to other people. If you don't want them, send them back. No refunds if you paid for it because it tells me you didn't want it and just wanted to snatch it away. If you ask for a refund, depending on how you asked, I will add you to the banned list or strikes list.
I may add more rules if necessary.


If any rule is broken, I may ban, or add a strike to your name, depending on what you have done.

How do I adopt an Okamiaru?
There are different ways to adopt one. Sometimes, they will be first come first serve, sometimes first pay first serve, sometimes auctioned and others best form. For first pay first serve, if more than one person send in a payment, I will either accept the better payment or give it to the person who does not have an Okimaru.

Is there a plural for Okamiaru?
Nope. I think it sounds better without a plural. x)

Why did you name these Okamiaru?
I named them Okamiaru because Solo said they were based on Japanese wolves, so I took the word "okami", which stands for 'wolf' in Japanese. At first, I wanted to call them "Nihon Okami" which meant "Japanese Wolf", but it was so mainstream, I decided not to. The 'aru' came from my favourite anime, Gintama. A character in Gintama ends their sentences with aru, so I added it on to be 'Okamiaru'.

Yes. They aren't just legends. There have actually been sightings of these wolves around the world. There is a legend about them, that if you have the pelt or something of an Okamiaru, you will have great luck for as long as you have it. This caused a stir among desperate hunters- both unlucky and bored people. Now, Okamiaru aren't safe from humans and I hope you, a human who had just stumbled by my cottage, would take one off my hands- there are just too many for me- and take great care of them.

Rarely, an Okamiaru will be born from the mind of a human. It is possible, but very, very rare. Although it is rare, it's possible to create one with a different method. To create an Okamiaru with a specific design, a Dream Charm is needed, but if you want to create an Okamiaru with a specific theme or colour palette, you need a Fog Charm. Of course, I can make them, but they won't be free. So remember to buy it from me first before asking for one. Also, use the right form.

[[ Breeding ]]

Okamiaru do not mate for life, but it does take time for them until they can breed again. The breeding interval between each breeding they can do is one breeding session. After another batch of Okamiaru have bred, they may breed again. But because I don't have much space in my little cottage, only three Okamiaru pairs may breed each time.

Okamiaru pups are quite helpless and wouldn't leave their mother. Fathers stay with them until they are two weeks old, while mothers take care of them until they're around a month old. I will be taking care of the pups, mother and father for that time. Within a month, they will be ready to go home with you- or sometimes even earlier.

Of course, Okamiaru are not easy to breed. There is a certain berry you need, but it is hard to find. An Aru Berry. Because it's rare, I won't just give it to you free. You'll have to purchase it from me. So before you fill a form, please make sure you have bought one first.

Although it's called the store, it's really just my backyard. Welcome to the Store, anyway. x)

There's always a limited number of stock. The materials to create charms are hard to gather and the berries are rare, so there're only limited amounts of everything. You can buy accessories for your Okamiaru here as well though. Well, have a look around and see what you'd like. Also, I don't take 'money'. I take herbs. Herbs to treat the wounded Okamiaru, which are increasing daily.


Dream Charm
With a Dream Charm, you can force an Okamiaru to be born with a specific design.
Cost: 13 herbs


Fog Charm
The Fog Charm allows an Okamiaru to be born with a specific theme or clour palette.
Cost: 20 herbs


Aruberry
This rare berry allows a female and male Okamiaru to breed with one another. A litter of three to seven pups will be born. However, if less than five are born, you may not keep all of them. You will need to buy a 'Pup Pass' to get another one.
Cost: 15 herbs


Pup Pass
These passes are for getting more than one pup from a breeding litter. These were made not because I want more herbs, but because I want them to go to good homes.
