- The Avelander is a pack animal. Packs vary from 10 - 20.
- They eat anything they can get to, whether it be house pets or garbage, leaves or bark.
- They live in the open grasslands, but migrate to forests in the winter.
- Some of the males like to play tricks on the females they are interested in, but this only serves to irritate the female and drop the male's chances.
- Avelanders are highly intelligent, except for the rare reject who doesn't quite fit in. Females are known to tie their fluff located on their heads into a bun or other tie if materials are available.
- The Avelander can have one of four different eye colors, some are more rare than others.
- The Avelander is 4"7, and could easily hunt a human child or small adult.
- The Avelander have basic and simple markings, and on the record there are only a small handful with complicated markings, and are often treated as outsiders. Avelanders normally have goat legs and long hair on the head and tail, their tails being like a horse tail.Other things that Avelanders can have are; horns, small wings, no goat legs,no hair or other(pm me for more)
- Refusing to have or accept a mate of the opposite gender is the same as betrayal to the pack, and the Avelander that refused would be exiled.
- The Avelander live in dens underground, taken from the last resident. Most Avelanders normally find abandoned holes, but in the rare case that they find an inhabited hole, the two fight to the death over the shelter.
- The Avelander hibernates over the winter and extends their dens down deeper into the earth, as well as blocking the entrance to the den with mud and anything else they find in the fall months. While hibernating, if the family of Avelander inhabiting the hole run out of food, they eat roots and bugs to survive. They hibernate because they would freeze to death out in the upper-world.
- Baby Avelanders have little to no fluff on their heads and their eyes are visible. Within a month, however, their eyes are masked by hair.
