I personally love made up species, but I have to say that this one is not very original...I do not mean to be harsh or anything, but it just seems like a horse with a few minor modifications...CS already has several horse-type species, if you want to make yours stand out you need to be a little more creative; and get good line art.

Also maybe they could live in the tundra? or the boreal forest/Taiga? Could be called Taiga equids then XD

Theres already a species called Taiga's, and while they are a completely different thing, it'd be VERY annoying to have 2 exact-name species just one has 'Equine' on the en (:

As for a name, I LOVE using Latin for the official name, and then a common name, like in real life ^^ A common name for the title so people can find it easily, and a latin name as the official name ^^

I will squeal like a Fangirl if it has lots and LOTZ of feathering and armpit fluff. 8D

I prefer below knee tho. x3 or maybe you should just put the fluff along the whole leg and make it trail behind! I've never seen people do that, and it could be a unique trait of these Equids. 8D
