Name You'd Choose for It: Tallara (Fun Fact: Tallara means 'Rain')
Gender: Female
Reason You Want It: When I first joined CS, I caught on to a lot of things; how the dates and rarity mattered with pets, what was popular and what wasn't. I made a wishlist, I started hoards. I made new roleplay characters and joined in on roleplays. Heck, I even messed around with the Oekaki (even though I couldn't draw very well.) and published my first picture; a simple fire. But,after being here a few months, I've seen things that lots of people have that I don't have: A fursona. I wanted one. I wanted to be able to have a character I could call my own,and give people references to so I could buy artwork of it,and other bonuses of fursonas.
Well, I didn't think I could actually "draw" a fursona. I don't draw very well, honestly (and if you had to pick between what I did better, writing stories or drawing, you'd go with writing stories). Since I didn't believe I could just create my own, I opted for another route: using someone else's lineart and just color it in. Then I could still have a fursona, but not embarass myself with my artistic.."ability". I could have a decent-looking reference picture, and I could just pay other people to draw it for me. I could have just let other people draw and me write the stories. But I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to color in a line art!! I figured out how to open the program easily enough, by clicking the "colormein" button, but I was overwhelmed with all the fancy buttons and settings. But then,I got a brilliant idea. (Now I have indeed figured it out a bit, but I still want this character; she's so awesome to draw!!) Why not just adopt one from someone else? That seemed like a good idea.
So I stumbled across this thread, and began looking at all the different pets. I flipped through them all. Either they were too complex or too..well,they didn't catch my eye. But I saw #53. I looked at her for a moment. I flipped through them all again, but like last time, I stopped at #53. A third time, same thing. I had already started to consider her. I liked her. She was cute, but not too hard to draw. But could I draw her? That's what I wanted to find out. So,using the picture of her, I drew a quick sketch. And it actually wasn't half-bad! But let me tell you, it wasn't perfect. The ears were a bit too floppy for my liking, the eyes were misshaped and the wings were too pointy. But I drew her! And I liked it. So I decided to go for it. And here I am.
History/Background/Other: -
Personality: Tallara is loyal, kind, and slightly tomboyish. She is pretty laid back, enjoying to simply watch the clouds or doodle a picture in some of her free time. She can make most anyone laugh, and is sometimes called the class clown. She excells at playing the flute, singing (though rather shy with crowds),and drawing. She also enjoys writing stories and poems, but rarely shares her work with others. She is intelligent, and likes to solve puzzles or brainteasers. She enjoys having friends, but prefers the handful of close friends to the crowd of aquaintances. When she is mad, however, she wont be afraid to make a snappy comeback or witty remark, but is sympathetic quite quickly.
-
History: Tallara's mother died when she was but an infant, leaving her to be raised by her father. Mourning the loss of his wife, he relocated to another town far away in hopes that "starting over" would do both him and his daughter some good. In Tallara's eyes, however, that would be the town she had always known and cherished. As Tallara grew older, she excelled at several things, including drawing. Her father, quite proud of her artistic ability (which he also has), put it upon himself to school her in this matter. Overall, the bond between father and daughter is very strong. Currently, her father has decided to start a business in artwork and artwork comissions, which Tallara sometimes helps him with.
At the moment, Tallara is simply living an average life; going to school, spending time with her father, and hanging out with friends.

I understand that by adopting this creature I take full responsibility for it. I understand 100%.
