Name You'd Choose for It:
Kai'er
Gender:
Male
Reason You Want It:
Plain and simple, he clicked with me. xD
His name and personality came to me quickly and and I can very easily see him fitting in with my current characters. <3
I see him being very much like my rl dog (personality-wise) so he would be very close to me if I where to have him. <3
History/Background/Other:

Personality:

Kai'er is pushy and insistent, but he couldn't be more sweet. He is deeply attached to Niyati, his companion. He requires near-constant attention from her and will enthusiastically and happily press himself, wiggling, against her legs if she ignores him for too long.
He is athletic and a skilled protector, but he, like her, is still young and still makes many mistakes. He shows great promise as a guide companion. He strives to live up to the expectations of both Niyati and the tribe, but he mirrors her internal fears of falling short.

History:

He was born a near-normal Carolina Dog. The only unusual distinction between himself and his siblings was the patterning of his coloration, whereas the others had a typical sandy color.
During these younger years, he was very different, still happy and enthusiastic, but there where many times when he would simply stop and stare as though in a trance. He would stay in this frozen state for hours if allowed. To break the trance all one had to do was nudge him enough to move him. Then, he would be back as though nothing had happened.
Even without these trances, he seemed to only be half of a whole being, his personality only had the one side and his off-vibes often gave others a creepy feeling. His eyes where light and cloudy, often blank of expression, giving him a ghostly gaze.

During his second year, he met Niyati. He spotted her staring at him from high in a tree. He paused, standing straight up-right, giving away his position to the rabbit he'd been stalking. It darted quickly down it's burrow without him even noticing. He was drawn to this strange being in the tree and her gaze locked his.

She slowly descended from her perch in the tree, never breaking eye contact, and approached him as one might an old friend.
He was confused. He felt as though he knew her, though he couldn't remember ever having seen her.
She stopped in front of him and smiled, reaching out toward him. She let her hand hover a few inches above his head, just between his ears.
Kai'er raised his head to press against her hand. Immediately, he could feel a clarity flow through him and he knew her to be his other half. The ghostly look vanished. His eyes cleared and deepened to a bright ocean blue. gasped lightly, realizing he could finally see clearly, in both the figurative and literal sense.

The change from wild dog to guide companion was fast, but he never looked back or questioned it. It makes sense to him and he knows this is why he was different to begin with. He was always meant to be with Niyati. She told him of his importance and the bond they share and he adapted quickly to tribe life.
They call him 'Deliverance' for their hope that he, along with Niyati, will lead the tribe into a new age of prosperity. It is a name he hopes to live up to as Niyati, which means 'Fate', 'Fortune', or 'Supreme Power', hopes to live up to hers.

I understand that by adopting this creature I take full responsibility for it.
Absolutely~<3

Pet's ID Tag: Kennel 6

Name You'd Choose for It: Autumn Spirit

Gender: Female

Reason You Want It:

I saw autum spirit and the minute I did I was drawn it, I think it was almost every day I would come one to see if she was up yet. The minute I saw her I was pming the donator for premition to adopt her. She was natural and I love natural characters, but she also held an air of magic around her. I didn't mind that her name gender and breed couldn't change and in fact that drug me more to her. Here was a character with a breed, gender and name that I could mold around. Of course the breed was harder so I ended up researching both breeds (info later in the form.)

History/Background/Other:

Basics

Name: Autumn Spirit
Age: 3 years Old
Gender: Filly
Adopted Father: Choclate Spirits
Adoptive Mother: Crystal Spyrals
Sensie: Enya
Job: In Training Guardian
Breed: Paint Quarter Horse

About Both Breeds:

From: http://en.wikipedia.org

The American Paint Horse is a breed of horse that combines both the conformational characteristics of a western stock horse with a pinto spotting pattern of white and dark coat colors. Developed from a base of spotted horses with Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred bloodlines, the American Paint Horse Association (APHA) breed registry is now one of the fastest-growing in North America.

he American Paint Horse shares a common ancestry with the American Quarter Horse and the Thoroughbred. A registered Paint horse should conform to the same "stock horse" body type desired in Quarter Horses: a muscular animal that is heavy but not too tall, with a low center of gravity for maneuverability, and powerful hindquarters suitable for rapid acceleration and sprinting.

When the American Quarter Horse Association emerged in 1940 to preserve horses of the "stock" type, it excluded those with pinto coat patterns and "crop out" horses, those born with white body spots or white above the knees and hocks. Undeterred, fans of colorful stock horses formed a variety of organizations to preserve and promote Paint horses. In 1965 some of these groups merged to form the American Paint Horse Association.

The American Quarter Horse is an American breed of horse that excels at sprinting short distances. Its name came from its ability to outdistance other breeds of horses in races of a quarter mile or less; some individuals have been clocked at speeds up to 55 mph (88.5 km/h). The American Quarter Horse is the most popular breed in the United States today, and the American Quarter Horse Association is the largest breed registry in the world, with more than 4 million American Quarter Horses registered.

The American Quarter Horse is well known both as a race horse and for its performance in rodeos, horse shows and as a working ranch horse. The compact body of the American Quarter Horse is well-suited to the intricate and speedy maneuvers required in reining, cutting, working cow horse, barrel racing, calf roping, and other western riding events, especially those involving live cattle. The American Quarter Horse is also shown in English disciplines, driving, and many other equestrian activities.

In the 17th century, colonists on the eastern seaboard of what today is the United States began to cross imported English Thoroughbred horses with assorted "native" horses such as the Chickasaw horse, which was a breed developed by Native American people from horses descended from Spain, developed from Iberian, Arabian and Barb stock brought to what is now the Southeastern United States by the Conquistadors.[1]

One of the most famous of these early imports was Janus, a Thoroughbred who was the grandson of the Godolphin Arabian. He was foaled in 1746, and imported to colonial Virginia in 1756.[2] The influence of Thoroughbreds like Janus contributed genes crucial to the development of the colonial "Quarter Horse."[3][4] The breed is sometimes referred to as the "Famous American Quarter Running Horse."[5] The resulting horse was small, hardy, and quick, and was used as a work horse during the week and a race horse on the weekends.[6]

As flat racing became popular with the colonists, the Quarter Horse gained even more popularity as a sprinter over courses that, by necessity, were shorter than the classic racecourses of England, and were often no more than a straight stretch of road or flat piece of open land. When matched against a Thoroughbred, local sprinters often won.[citation needed] As the Thoroughbred breed became established in America, many colonial Quarter Horses were included in the original American stud books,[5] starting a long association between the Thoroughbred breed and what would later become officially known as the "Quarter Horse," named after the distance at which it excelled,[citation needed] with some individuals being clocked at up to 55 mph.[7]

In the 19th century, pioneers heading West needed a hardy, willing horse. On the Great Plains, settlers encountered horses that descended from the Spanish stock Hernán Cortés and other Conquistadors had introduced into the viceroyalty of New Spain, which today includes the Southwestern United States and Mexico. These horses of the west included herds of feral animals known as Mustangs, as well as horses domesticated by Native Americans, including the Comanche, Shoshoni and Nez Perce tribes.[citation needed] As the colonial Quarter Horse was crossed with these western horses, the pioneers found that the new crossbred had innate "cow sense," a natural instinct for working with cattle, making it popular with cattlemen on ranches.[8]

Phisically

She is physically able to take care of herself in a fight against anyone. If she has to fight or run away she is capable of doing it and hardly anything will be able to stop her. She has gained speed and stamina by training and running, and muscles by training with he teacher. She is neither to thin nor too fat, but just the right size to be physically healthy. All and all she is solid in the physical area.

Personality:

Likes:

Disikes:

History

Born to a herd in the peek of Autumn, she gained her name as well as her birthright. She was to be a guardian, one of the most valued position in her herd. Her teacher was to be Enya a high guardian and the highest ranked one of the herd. Enya was said to have powers even most unicorns didn't have. Spirits training could not begin until she was older however, she was to be able to enjoy her foal-hood until she was two then she'd start her training.

Her foal-hood at first was one of great joy, she had everything a foal could want of need. Then her mother died, it was not known how it happened. Some say she was shot after going to close to the border others say she was poisened and wandered back before dieing. All that was know was Spirits was now a young filly with know mother to call on for advice. In those days Spirits wandered around, avoiding most of the other foals. Enya saw this and decided to take the filly in raising her as her own.

Now Enya was not a young mare but she had had a few foals in her lifetime, as well as lost a few so she was no stranger to greif. She knew how it was to lose someone and knew Spirits grief was probally deep, to loose a foal was one thing to loose a parent was another. She wished the young filly had not had to go what she had in such a short amount of time.
