Name You'd Choose for It:Lucifer
Which means 'Light Bearer"
Gender: male
Reason You Want It: I simply adore him! I love his dark colors and 'gothicness'. He makes me think of Lucifer, because of his dark colors and wings. Oh his lovely wings.
Details, details, details. Love it! In addition, I've been wanting to get a demon charrie for some while now. I NEED TO GET THIS! x3 I'm just desperate xD
History/Background/Other:"Your eyes are freaking me out"
"Why?"
"They keep on moving around, as if you could see"
"Well, I can't. How does it look like?"
"Around? Dark. Hollow. Empty"
"Great" I exclaimed sarcastically. You might be wondering where I am. And who I am.
I'm Lucifer, although I was never as evil as he was.
I'm blind, but I can feel, taste, smell and hear better.
I don't know how I look like, but I can feel wings, which I often use, chains and peircings.
And I'm in a damp labyrinth.
You also might be wondering who my companion is. That's Misty. I could tell you how she looks like, but I can't see, so it doesn't really matter here. All I can tell you is that she has long fur, and smells misty. Damp, more like it.
I wonder why.
Anyways, Misty and I got stuck in a labyrinth, trying to get to the middle. And this is no attraction park labyrinth.
This one stretched over the whole world, so if you got stuck in there, no one will ever find you.
On a happier note, we thought we might be getting out.
You might be wondering why I didn't just use my wings and fly away. Two reasons:
1) It was underground and
2) Even if it wasn't, Misty doesn't have wings.
Misty is the only living organism in this universe to understand me. I couldn't leave her here to die.
Anyways, now, Misty had told me that a great tunnel was directly in front of us, blocking the passage. Of course, I could just fly over it, but what about Misty? I'm probably sounding as though I'm fretting over her, but I'm just worried about her. She's my best friend.
"Why don't you fly over and find another way?" Asked Misty
"No"
"Yes"
"No"
"Yes"
"No"
"Yes"
There was no changing her mind. This could go on for hours, if wanted. But, I wanted out, with I grumbled "Fine!" and took off. I swear I could feel someone glaring at me. Who knows in these places?
"You're on the other side!" called Misty. I dropped down, slowly, since I didn't really know, but if I angled my ears, I could hear that the never returning echo had gone.
You also might be wondering why I'm here. A blind fallen angel, here in a labyrinth. A voice guided me here.
Go on! it had urged me. I met, more scented, Misty.
I padded on, my tail feeling the side, my ribbons emitting a faint rustling sound, the voice echoing in my mind. I felt some lines and shapes on the wall with my tail, but this must date from a thousand, if not millions, of years.
"Argg!" I yelped as my snout banged into something hard and cold. I yelped and I was frantic for a few moments, my thoughts jumbled in panic, before I realized: it was only a wall.
I felt my face warm, but I quickly pushed it away, and continued on my way. I tipped my head to one side, and howled in the other. Nothing came back. I howled in the other direction, and still nothing came back. I sat down, and called out: "Where do I go?". I must have expected The Voice, but instead, nothing. I would have to use instinct. And it told me to go right. "Right is right. Right is right" I sang to myself. But, I was still shaking in terror, as i'm blind. Which means I can't see. What if a super-quiet beast came and killed me?
You're being silly, Lucifer! A fallen angel can't be killed!
But still! I can be hurt!
But you can heal!
Still-
Besides, if you get impaled by spikes or mauled by a homeless person, you can get away without much harm.
You're sarcastic
Yes I am
Oh. Okay
You are too sometimes!
No
Yes
N- AAAAAAAHHHH!!!My feet hit a slope, and now I was falling, falling, falling. The slope got steeper and steeper, until I could not feel it anymore beneath my belly.
"Ooof!" I hit the ground, head first. Luckly, and weirdly, it was soft. The breath was knocked out of me, and there, I lay there, stunned for a few moments.
As I inhaled desperate gulps of air, I heard silent paw steps.
And a damp, misty scent.
"Mis" I took a breath "sty?" I continued cautiously.
"Why yes!"
"Wha happened" (I was still out of breath)
"Well, as soon as you went" She started "I searched the place, I found a narrow tunnel, and as soon as I squeezed into it, I fell. And fell. And fell. I fell here, and I heard else someone fall. Namely, you."
"Oh. Alright. We still need to get out, don't we?"
"Why yes!"
"You said that twice in one conversation."
"Ohrley?"
"Does that mean 'Oh really'?"
"Why yes"
"Oh. Okay."
And with that, we started to search. We needed to get out. I soon found a narrow tunnel. Well, rather heard. You see, it's echo was long In that direction.
"You found where I came in!" was Misty's call.
"Orley?" I asked.
"That's my line!"
"Whatever!" I concluded and, feeling my way carefully, squeezed through.
"Where are you?" came Misty's howl.
"I'm here!"
"Where?"
"Listen to my bark! That's how I do it!"
And so I barked. Or rather howled. "Arrrrrrrooooooo!"
"Your where I came in?" Howled Misty, and her pawsteps came closer and closer...
"Oof!" Misty hit my backside, and I jumped, surprised. I darted out of the tunnel, or at least, I thought I did, and stopped suddenly. Was I out? I felt the soft breeze rippling through my pelt, and the sun's warmth heating me. I took a few tentative steps. Feeling safe, I ran around, enjoying the birds and the colorful f- wait, WHAT? I shook my head. I was blind. I could NOT see. I closed my eyes for a few seconds, shocked, and opened them back up. Everything was nothing. I was blind again. I whimpered and laid down, shaken. Where was Misty?
"MISTY! MISTY! MISTY!" I cried out, running around and making as much noise as possible. Suddenely, the soft breeze turned into a harsh wind, the warm sun getting colder, my feet feeling a slope. I dropped.
As I dropped, I spread my wings wide, hoping to slow my fall. Unfortunately, the wind was against me, so splash into the water I went. I struggled to get out of the water, flapping my paws around wildly.
I heard a second splash, and a tug on my neck skin.
"Idiot! Stop struggling if you want to get out!" muttered someone. It was not Misty. Misty did not have the same gruff voice.
It dragged me to a sandy beach, and I heard splashes, and for a second, it was gone. I heard it drag something back. Or at least, I hoped so.
"Lucifer?"
"MISTY! there you are!" at least, that's what I meant to say. It ended up as "MISTY! There -" since I broke off in a coughing fit. I had swallowed some of the water, and I licked my lips, I found that it was salty. Not mild salty, but a kind of salty that made you want to throw up. It was overwhelming.
I spat to get rid of the taste.
"Who are you wolves doing out here?" came the gruff voice.
I stood straight up, and asked it: "who are you? And where are we?"
It sighed. "I am Tin. You are... somewhere. I don't know. All I know is that it's evil here."
"Unhmm" I grumbled. "Where should we go?"
"Go?" said Tin. "Anywhere but in here!"
"Where do you go?" asked Misty sweetly.
"Ya really want to know? Well then, c'mon!" Tin's pawsteps grew fainter, so I decided to follow. Misty's damp tail was lightly put on my back, to lightly guide me. She swerved left, and so did I. We walked for hours, and suddenly broke off in a run. I tried to catch up.
"Right! Straight! Right!" came Tin's commanding voice.
I tried to obey all of it, and at once I knew why they were running. A deep, threatening breathing come from behind me, and all too soon I felt something grip my neck skin. It shook me back and forth.
I was tired. I was tired of being helpless, of falling, of having to be saved.
I was very tired of it all. I felt my fear melt.
I kicked out with all my might, my blood was rushing through my veins. Surprised, it dropped me. I could have run away, but I was tired of running. Instead, I jumped and slammed into it. I gripped it with my sharp claws and bit it. It had tough skin, so I had a hard time biting it, but I managed. I didn't bite it enough for blood to leak, but enough so that it jumped back. I felt it jump back, and scratch me so I got off. I guessed I was at it's shoulder. But I continued biting it.
"Dumb***! Geddown here before it kills you!" I heard Tin screech.
"Lucifer! Get down! It will kill you!" Misty joined in with Tin.
I loosened my jaw, and let go. It ran off. It might be big and tough, but it was cowardly. I snarled after it. My heart's pounding ceased. My jaws felt sore. My legs ached and I was tired.
So I collapsed. I hadn't slept in
days, and here I defeated something.
I felt something jab me. I groaned and rolled (I am on my belly now) over but a delicious scent wafted to my over-sensitive nostrils. I licked my lips. "Here" said a sweet female voice. Misty! I pawed the ground in attempt to pick it up. When I had hooked the furry morsel with my sharp canine claws, I took a bite. My mouth was filled with a juicy flavor, and I polished it off. I rolled over, contented (my back was to the ground now).
"We got a long way to go, so you better recover soon"
I sighed. That was Tin.
I staggered to my paws. For one, just one moment, I had felt safe, happy and warm. Now it came rushing back to me. "How long?" I asked Misty.
"Not long." was her reply. By that I had meant 'how long have I been unconscious'. Misty could read my mind.
"Now, come along. We'd better start a soon as possible."
I sniffed the air. It reeked of rust and something salty... blood? I didn't want to find out.
"How does it look like?" I asked them.
"We are outside a straightwalker's den. But it is abandoned and ancient" Tin replied gruffly.
"A straightwalker?" Misty and I asked at the same time.
"You know... those tall things that walk on two paws?"
"Oh. I geddit" I said.
"You mean Nofurs?" Misty said
"That's what you call them?"
"Yes"
They kept on jabbering about what they called it, and we started out. The wind was brutal, and the sun was burning my skin, but I felt... alive. I was going exploring! I was going outta here.
(That's it! x3)
