Pet's ID Tag: 33
Name You'd Choose for It: Linkin (Link for short)
Gender: MaleReason You Want It: I connected with his design instantly. I absolutely love it, and I think it's the most stunning design I've seen in a long time. I would especially love to use Linkin in some RP's, but as with all of my characters, I will concentrate on making and getting lots of art for him. His design seems like it would be so fun to draw. x3 Plus, I have a lot of wolves and dragons. I think a Lynx would be a nice change.[: I'm also going to turn his background into a story most likely.

History/Background/Other:The Beginning:
"I'm changing everything,
cause you wont be there for me.
If you were dead or still alive,
I don't care.
I don't care.
So go and leave this all behind.
'Cause I swear, I don't care."
I stepped out of the portal into a misty yet peaceful forest. The first thing I noticed was how tall the trees were, and how high up they started to grow. Looking up, the second thing I noticed was that I was very close to Heaven. The golden-tinted cloud with the towers of gold and silver looked to be only a few miles above me. Too bad there was no physical way I could get up there. Suddenly realizing that I must be on a cloud too, even though the floor looked like one of a forest with leaves, rocks, grass, and brush, I took a few more steps so I could feel how my feet whisped through the floor. Clouds weren't solid like cotton, and around the surface they give off a ridiculous amount of smoke. Yet somehow you didnt fall through it. Your steps were cushioned, almost as if you were walking on a land made out of pillows. Refocusing my thoughts onto the task at hand, I looked around. I could tell it was around midnight; she should be here soon. I flicked my ear at a pesky firefly buzzing around it. Most animals found them to be beautiful. I found them revolting. I wrinkled my nose and took a few more steps into the dark woods, nearly stepping on a frog. "Watch it!" it exclaimed, its eyes wide in shock. At first I was surprised. Then I remembered, rolling my eyes, that we mammals weren't the only ones that could talk anymore. Great, more animals to listen to. I simply huffed and turned to walk the other way, towards a pond in a clearing of trees with moonlight reflecting off its surface. If she was still meeting me here then that's where she'd be. I walked up to the water's edge, gazing into the water, which was black with night. I watched as large koi fish slowly swam in circles. I couldn't imagine who would want to live here. It was so... boring. There was no danger, no excitement, and most importantly, no evil. I felt so out of place.
"Linkin!" I heard a voice yell from behind me. I spun around to face Luna, a now-Angelic Lynx who also happened to be my ex-girlfriend. I could see she had already begun her training as an angel, for she had the blue marks of the angel stained into her fur. She tilted her head at me. I could tell she was confused. I hate that I know her so well. She opened her mouth to speak. "Linkin... I miss you. But not you, the old Linkin. The one who held my paw and protected me. The sweet Linkin who stayed up with me when I couldn't sleep." She sighed and shook her head. "I just don't understand. How could you be so different, so wrong? Why did you change?" The look on her face was worried and pleading but I didn't care. Her words stung my ears. I realized then that she was only trying to convert me. To try to convince me to become an angel. My fur was still all black and white. I hadn't begun my training yet, so I didn't have any marks of the devil. No shaggy hair, no horns, and most importantly, no red markings. She thought it wasn't too late to change me. Oh, how wrong she was. "Are you kidding me?" I growled, "YOU did this to me! You'll never understand. You were the world to me Luna, but you cast me aside. Why bother anymore? What has god ever done for me, let my heart get destroyed? Don't even bother asking me to change. I side with the devil, and that's where I stand. I don't need you, and I don't need your god. If you want me you should've thought about that before you left me for... him." She looked so hurt but really I didn't care anymore. I tried not to focus on how the moon reflected off her beautiful white fur, and her blue eyes. I didn't care. I didn't care. "Is that all you drug me here for?" She nodded. That was all I needed. I turned around and padded briskly back to the portal. I only looked back long enough to leave her with some parting words. "I don't love you anymore." I spat venomously. "I walk the Devil's path now." And with that I hopped into the portal, feeling it close behind me as I struggled to remain conscious through teleportation as colors and beams of energy swirled all around me. These things always got the best of me. But I'm a fighter, and that changes now.
"Shut your mouth
baby girl, you're nothing new.
I hate everything you do.
Gotta get away from you.
I can't breathe when you're always close to me,
so go.
Wha-o-o. Wha-o-o."
Assess The Situation:
"It is time for annihilation.
Time to be a criminal.
No time for hesitation.
Time to be an animal."
The time bought by my portal ride gave me time to think. These things aren't instant, you know. So let me explain all of this to you. You see, there is a great war being fought over earth by the very pits of Heaven and Hell. Each of them got tired of sharing the earth of course, and decided that the only way to deal with this was to annihilate the other of course. So all of the animals of the earth were forced to chose which side they wanted to fight for. If an animal didn't choose and was caught in the middle, they would surely die. I, of course, chose to be on the side of the Devil. I was to begin my training the next day, where I would join a recruitment camp. I would learn to fight and earn the markings of the Devil. I couldn't wait to see what my evil self would look like. I would start out as a recruit, but my ultimate goal was to climb the ranking of Hell. To be great. And even meet the Devil myself one day. Some say he is a serpent, or a dragon. Some say he is a fierce lion. And some say he is a man. A human. Which is a mainly hairless being who walks on two legs, and have long been extinct. But I know better. I know down inside that the Devil is a lynx. Why? Because I can feel him inside me.
"This Is a call to arms.
It's time to go to war.
It's time to rant and rave.
I gotta, gotta, gotta make a change.
Down on the Devil's street,
Is where everybody meets.
I know what I'm fighting for."
