Branden was the first to join Octavius' gang after he took over. Octavius found him one night huddled alone under a dumpster. Branden was a scrawny young pup, and Octavius knew that if he didn't do anything, Branden would end up dead. He approached the nervous Branden about to offer him help, but Branden attacked him! With his too-long legs and scrawny body, he didn't cause much damage, Octavius was actually quite amused and pinned him easily. Branden didn't give up and flailed around for a bit, managing to scratch Octavius a few times, but Octavius was too strong and eventually Branden gave up. Once he was sure that Branden wouldn't try to fight anymore, he released him and offered to let him join his gang.

Ever since, Branden has been completely devoted to Octavius, and looks up to him as a father figure. He started a little bit shy, but he eventually grew into his awkward body and became quite a powerful fighter. He is really modest and nervous, but he has a good heart. The others tease him for being a softie, but they all are really fond of him.
