< Story > poor Brumble was made fun of for looking like a blackberry and lacking the Texture needed to be one! The other Chibbus had a field day with the way she looked, and took advantage of making fun of her. She had no one to turn to, not since she left home a while ago, and was living on her own, though no one knew where she lived, exactly. The other Chibbus bullied her so much, she felt as if she didn't belong anywhere, because she didn't fit in. Brumble had different coloring and patterns than everyone else, and she saw that as a defect, because all she knew was what the other Chibbus were telling her, how she was discolored and ugly. So, she took a small bag and left her little shelter. Brumble wandered through the streets, day and night, rain and shine, and barely made it by on food. A few nice Chibbus lent her food as they passed her, but none made any effort to get to know her. She began getting lonelier, and more stir crazy. She wanted to make friends! Play games! But she couldn't. Brumble felt she was far too different, and all she's ever known was being made fun of. Days, weeks passed. She was still cutting it close on food, and never had a full belly. She ate as little as possible, to ration her food, because Brumble never knew when she was going to come across some next. One day, she was wandering through the park, and spotted the chibbu pound catchers. Brumble ran, trying to hide. She was afraid that if she was put in the shelter, she would be made fun of there too. But not only made fun of, she would be stuck there since no one wanted her, and she would continue to have a miserable life, only now locked up. As Brumble's mind raced, the pound-catcher snuck up on her, caging her. Scared, Brumble was transported to the pound. She made little contact with others there, and spent 4 days in the pound before a family was finally interested in her. Brumble was so happy, and couldn't believe it! Was she finally going to go to a loving home to live a happy life?
< Personality > Brumble just wants to fit in, but no one makes the effort to talk to her.
She is funny, sensible, and a very good friend. Brumble knows a lot about surviving and is very mature for her age and size, since she grew up with no one. She doesn't regret her past, though. All decisions she made were for the better, and that taught her to think before she acted. If she always did that.. Brumble believes that she would have nothing to regret, and so far, it has worked out.
Brumble has had a great loss of confidence and self esteem, so those amazing traits are hidden. She seems laid back and always keeping to herself. But the truth is, Brumble hates not being herself. He wants to be herself and embrace it, but she is very afraid of being bullied again, and is sick of being judged. Once Brumble can learn to trust and love again, she will be the quirky, fun, and loving chibbu she used to be. She also has excellent eyesight, because she learned that her eyes are advanced, and she can see much more than the chibbu-eye can.
[b]< Quirks [what they collect, do, habits, etc ] >
Brumble absolutely loves to go fishing. It gives her peace of mind and helps het escape from the life she is currently living, just for a little bit. She finds her own bait, and fished on a daily basis. In fact, before she was captured by the pound and ran away, fishing was her only way of getting food.
She loves collecting the bait and putting it in her lucky bucket, carrying it down the street to the local pond, which was handy for catching mackerels, and if he was lucky, some bass that got washed away with the tide from the nearby ocean. She would sit there all day, watching the water glisten and his hook shake. Her favorite moment of fishing is always when she gets a fish on the line, because she knows that she can survive just one more night.
Brumble collects shells, because every once and a while, she takes a trip to the nearby ocean, and sees far too many beautiful shells, that can't just sit there. She has a very nice collection, consisting of rainbow rocks, shiny rocks, dull rocks, fun-shaped rocks, and much more of the liking.
Brumble's favorite saying is: Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
It is very true, because it is a major part of her life and couldn't survive without learning to fish. She picked up tips seeing her father fish out on the dock, before she left home. Nothing was ever given to her for free when she was living on her own, the only time she ever recieved something from someone was when she ran away, and that was little rations of food.
Brumble is very thankful for her life and all she has learned, though she wishes life could've been a bit simpler. But she is at the same time thankful for her experiences, because she can now fend for herself, and survive on her own, despite what others say. And she has found her true hobby, fishing, because of these events.
