"Welcome to the Lands," a low, dark voice booms. Your eyes flicker open, although you want to leave them closed longer. You slowly get up, taking in your surroundings. A figure emerges from a nearby bush - an elf. An elf with horns. The elf walks closer to you. "I am Hrellefine, a Thelenian," she smiles. She sticks out her hand. "I assume you are human?"
You nod your head and shake it. "Where am I?" you ask. She chuckles.
"As Horiusses had said, you are in the Lands," she says and her expression darkens, "the Forgotten Lands."
"Forgotten?" you ask, curious.
"Yes," she replies. "These Lands have been forgotten, and so have their creatures. As more and more humans of these lands are forgetting them, the more frequent disasters happen. These lands have feelings."
"Feelings?" you almost laugh. "Seriously?"
"Yes," she rolls her eyes. "If they are remembered, they grow. Their joy is the amount of Land."
"So..." you raise an eyebrow.
"So," she grumbles, "you were on that ship," she points at a wreckage, "and the Lands brought you here."
"Before," you realise, "you mentioned a name - Horiusses. Who is that?"
"Horiusses is the Main Land," she brightens. "Only the most sacred and divine of beasts stay there. Unpure and unimportant beasts and.. humanoids are not allowed in unless invited. This usually only happens when you offer an offering to Horiusses."
You nod, getting it now and turn to leave.
