A song like screech calls from behind you.You slowly turn around.Who could be calling to you in the middle of,well,here?A forest that had been set on fire recently.And burned for nearly a week.The only thing left was a gaint pine tree.When you turn what you see takes your breath away faster than a punch to the face.No person had called out to you.A large bird is sitting on the ground in front of you.It's scarlet and gold feathers are lit with a bright orange fire.It nodds it head for you to follow and flys up to a branch of the strudy pine.Every branch you climb, it flys one higher.Until it is perched outside a tangle of branches so big and thick you can't see in."Follow",it says certainly and swoops in.
What's inside?
"This is our home!",the fire bird anouces proudly."Welcome to Fire Pines!The land of the phoenix!"With that it leads you to the middle of the fire lit clearing.Across the floor of tightly woven branches.To where a few smaller phoenixs are sitting on ash colored eggs.And it's obvious they are female.Oddly, thought their fires are brighter than the males.Then on the side of the rock circle are a few old looking phoenix's.Some of them are so old their fires have turned to nothing more than a pale glow."This is were we have our ashings.", the voice of your tour guide makes you jump."You know when eggs hatch or old phoenixs are reborn.",he explains.
Hatchling Nests
Sometimes phoenixs lay eggs.When they hatch they are usually adopted off to the brave people that venture out to Fire Pines.Lucky for you the phoenixs are in breeding season!
Midnight
This is where the old phoenixs go.Usually after they have been owned but are now too old.Once they are rebonded to a human they are usually reborn into a younger state once more.
